I watched a good deal of Wolves games last season. Traore could not displace either Hwang or Podence in the lineup despite them both being meh.

Lage would usually throw him on as a punt when they were down. When he came on, he played like a man out to prove something and usually was very selfish with the ball. Holding on far too long until whatever good opportunity he had created had disappeared. Not to mention his crosses usually ended up at the opposite touchline.

I remember only one instance where he came on to actually contribute to a goal. I could be wrong about this detail but the point is that he didn't cut it at Wolves in a role many people on here seem to think he could play for us.

He is a one dimensional player and that one dimension doesn't help in any way whatsoever.
He wouldn't be the solution to all our problems, but no help in any way whatsoever? He is extremely good at that one thing, and I think with the way we're set up, Conte would be able to take advantage of this in certain situations. A bit more exciting to bring on at the right side than Royal at least.

Played as LWB.

He is left footed plays CM fir choice, although can play as LM and LWB. His right foot isn't bad though, delivered a few excellent crosses from right side for u21's. One of best set piece takers at Spurs.

Classic issue is how to get experience without playing - Spurs have kept him with first team squad all of last season after a decent loan to Portsmouth for 2nd half of 20/21 season.
Yeah, I meant LWB.

LWB might well be his way into the team. His crosses, free kicks and surprising tackling ability is a good foundation to build off of.

Just need to bulk up a bit for the men's game, he still looks like a child.

Same shite different season,

Apart from Udogie… I would be done for this season. Get rid of the dross.

Save funds for next summer where we can go again for LCB, RWB, GK and maybe one other position we seem to be weak in. Just LCB and GK could easily cost us 130m if we’re buying top class.

Wonder if there is an argument on lumping all the remaining budget on a real star in a position where we need that quality. Gvardiol maybe. Shame Hakimi is at PSG. Might leave us a bit shy in a couple of positions and would cost a bomb but might just give us that extra boost.

100% agreed.

The team we've assembled for this season is superb. Our best squad of the Premier League era, certainly. Spend the rest of the window getting rid of the players who have absolutely no chance of playing for us again, sit down with Kane and get him to sign a new deal and if someone like a van der Vaart opportunity does pop up late in terms of a 'creative midfielder' who's happy to be a squad player then perhaps go for it

But I won't be upset if we're done after Udogie.
