Any move for Ndombele will be a loan, he’s a suspect player on huge wages. Interested clubs will want to try before they buy, if they ever do.

It really is frightening that we’ve ended up paying a rubbish player like him the kind of salary that elite midfielders at the super clubs get. Basically impossible to get rid of him without just paying up his contract.

What is the point of going for these more established Italian players in Serie A. We never get them over the line, so what is the point? Italian players rarely want to move from Italy. Just a pointless exercise chasing them all summer, then they sign new contracts at their clubs.
