But yes if it wasn't for the Italians I would dread to think what shit we would have, I'm not convinced that what we are looking at right now is bordering on west ham levels but we will see

At this point I think we're happy to just let Chelsea get this one over the line. If we were interested in Gordon then we'll still be hunting players in that position, so best just let Chelsea spunk their wad before we line up someone of better value (who they may otherwise turn their attention to).

Tuchel is the DOF, it means he's under pressure to get things right as they're his signings and he's essentially spending the clubs money, will be interesting when they hit a rough patch because he will need to take 100% accountability i fit goes wrong.

Buying Werner, Ziyech, and Lukaku, only to sell them all back to their original clubs at an extreme discount is the equivalent of making the Ndombele mistake 3 times in a row.
 
What people here miscalculated about the Chelsea change of ownership is that Abramavic isn't demanding al his money back, the new guy isn't poor and the 20 years of consistent success on the pitch has, despite all the whining on here, made them a big, wealthy club.

As much as you all hate that, I thank them for starting the rot at Man United.

You just listed "being 3 inches taller", "stronger"(?) "playing 30 pl games" for fucking Everton who have been relegation candidates for 2 seasons running as some kind of magnificent achievement for a winger.

Stand up/sit down/lay flat whatever but
Anthony Gordon has done nothing to prove that he is an upgrade over Gil for any amount of 💰.
