Personally, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if Fabrizio Romano was saying we were signing another player. As I said earlier in the thread:
Ronaldo is a big part of their problems right now. And Rashford and Sancho have looked very lively since Ronaldo was benched. I don't think they'll have any problem scoring some goals, especially with Anthony forming a sweet attacking trident (Sancho/Rashford/Anthony). They'll probably be more exposed in midfield and defense. I thought they were totally effed but Ten Hag, thanks mostly to having stupid amounts of money available to him, seems to have them getting back on track for now.
That win against a geriatric Liverpool midfield has really done a number on some people. They are a mess. Ole repeatedly pulled off one of a kind big game results as that's what expensive attacking players can do. But it's midfield and at Centerback that leagues are won. They are still short in key areas let's see what actually happens.
I'm not saying he's worth what they've paid for him. But there does seem to be a good defender in there. Again, I doubt they'll get the best out of him in a back 2

Yeah something has to come out in the next day or so or else I suspect we aren’t getting anyone else in. Even if they do come in they won’t get to start games for a while I suspect based on how Conte has introduced the other signings.

It's risky on our part and relies on players staying fit and free from injury.

Gil/Sarr and Tanganga are our possible outgoings to get someone in.
