He is a solid unspectaular centerback. He is better than Dragusin and has slightly more quality than Danso. He reads the game better than ALL our centerbacks. He plays alot...on the left side ( So make of that what you will). He is a top six not top four player. Personally Id go for Lecirox at Palace. But he moon walks into our team currently. We looked at him but chose Van De Ven because he had the higher ceiling...and you know money.

Here's the bit the groupies won't like and I said it then Tapsoba understands the position has in fact forgotten more about it than Van De Ven knows. In fact im warming to it now Lecroix Tapsoba under a Pochettino would be very good indeed. Just have to stay up.

If we go down we will be looking at players like James Milner on a 1-year deal.
Go Away GIF

If we end up in the championship it won"t be so easy to get back up, particularly with such a weak mentality throughout the club.
Said it last season, been saying it again this time round...we are not coming straight back up, no chance.

Worst thing is, going down would only be the start of serious troubles for Spurs. It wouldn't be the wake-up call some are claiming, there'd be no magical fairytale winning the Champo with 10 games to spare and tearing the PL a new one upon returning to the big time. Quit mixing acids & heroine, folks.

But then again, say we stay up...we ain't getting back into the top 4-6 next season. Best we can hope for is a 'comfortable' P10-12. More likely, another relegation battle.

Until everything changes, nothing changes.

That sounds far too sensible and steeped in footballing logic. Will never happen, you crazy crazy person.

In the event that we stay up, which striker should we go for? There’s literally no one out there that stands out, even if we are willing to pay the money. Aghehowa, who we were strongly linked to has done his ACL, so that’s a non-starter. Kane’s never coming back. Even if we are willing to up our wage limit, he’ll still be way above what we’d be willing to pay (He’s reportedly on £300k a week net).

Looking at who’d be even semi-realistic, and its players like Toney, Vlahovic, Igor Thiago & Nico Jackson. Is it worth putting the money into CM and wide positions and just persisting with Solanke and Richarlison for the time being? And I ask that as someone that can’t stand Richarlison

People will tell you we need a better striker than Solanke and Rich which is fine but they won't be able to name one realistically who will join the club because people still haven't clocked how bad the striker market is.

I’ve no idea who’d be semi realistic, but Vlahovic would be one who is on the open market. Guirassy is a bit streaky and may not be realistic. Osimhen remains the dream for me.

Haaland

"Pay and they will come" innit.

A very persistent poster assures me so......
You know you are very wrong dont you? YES we could get Haaland and effectively it would simply be about money and intent. If say Bezos decided Space is boring Im playing fantasy 'soccer' he could buy the club and tap up Haaland to be part of the 'Yid horizon ' project. In a very real way it is simply about money if you have enough of it. Its why the games been spoiled. It's the thing your man Levy could not come to terms with there is no prudence whan what Chelsea City Wrexham can do what they are.

Yid Horizon project

😂😂😂😂

This is the time for EPL clubs to line up potential TW summer signings but Spurs are in such a mess ATM that I can't see them have any clue really how to approach this TW and if they stay up...because it's such a mess at the top right now...
Spurs will need:
- a new head-coach
- a new CEO
- a new DoF
(and new owners as well would be a bonus)
