I’ve played with a few ex prem Players. The main attribute that sets them apart from your average decent player is consistency and disciple at doing the basics.
They don’t misplace passes. They don’t lose the ball dribbling. They don’t miss time a header. They control the ball with ease. And they don’t lose their man.
These are all the basics that the Spurs squad are failing at. And it’s why performances are so bad. The level they are playing at would also see them relegated from the championship.
I don’t see any club wanting to spend money on any of this squad. Grey aside, they genuinely look like league 1 players, without the physicality.
