If it's Lange leading the negotiations, we're fucked.

If we stay up (and even to some degree if we' don't) he'll be heavily incentivised to sign a new deal.

He's currently on peanuts and despite what some people think the lad's got 4 years left on his deal and we don't have to sell him. Given the choice between being stuck at Spurs on 10k p/w or being stuck at Spurs on a slightly longer deal on, say 80/90k p/w (or more) and securing the financial future of his family...it's not a difficult decision. The ball's completely in our court when it comes to Vuskovic. Although naturally if Bayern offer 90m or something mental then we have a decision to make.

And if we stay up with RDZ at the helm we're a pretty exciting project to be a part of anyway.

If we do stay up, I'd be surprised if de zerbi allowed both our first choice centre backs to leave in the summer. He'd go fucking mental.
Presumably Romero is the more likely to leave.

Assuming Spurs stay in the Premier League there is no European football next season. This won't be desirable for most players; however if De Zerbi can convince them that Spurs plan a title challenge and, the club actually backs him there is no reason to beleive that players will abandon ship.

Kulu, Romero, VDV, Xavi, Palhinha (assume he stays), Bentancur, Gallagher, Kudus, Madisson and Porro (if played to his strengths) are top shelf talents.

Gray, Begvall, Vuskovic, Tel, Dragusin are very good youth talents. Mike Moore and Devine also developing well.

It's clear that as a minimum, Spurs need to improve their best team - not buy for rotation. A starting Goalkeeper, Left Back, Left Forward and Centre Forward are ESSENTIAL - and that is assuming that Madisson, Kudus and Kulu are back FIT and ready to play pre season.

Davies, Bissouma, RKM will leave. Sarr, Odobert, Spence and Udogie don't seem up to it. But maybe new coach will bring out the best in them.

One thing is for sure - Spurs simply cannot have yet another injury crisis. If players have chronic problems - they simply must be moved on; no matter what their perceived ceiling is. A team is only as good as their worst player.

More than FOUR MILLION Real Madrid fans sign petition demanding Kylian Mbappe is sold

maybe a option for a loan offer if we dont stay up ?

Vicario, Romero, Spence, Sarr, maybe udogie, bissouma, Solanke, Richy.

I would try and move on all of them. Should be able to get a decent amount there.
Agree, bare minimum. Could add Dragusin and Davies out of contract as well. Hopefully we win these last 3 games but the worst thing we could do is pretend everything is now great and the last 2.5 seasons didnt happen. A lot of these players have let us down time and time again and others are constantly injured. We really need a proper refresh. Good thing is if rumours around Senesi and Robertson are true and with Vuskovic and Moore to return then thats a decent start without spending a penny on transfer fees.

If we stay up in attack we are in such a weird predicament. On paper, fully fit, our attack is actually good imo, but with the injuries and player jsut coming back or coming back for the start of the season who knows how good well actually be.

On paper, at striker is probably our weakest area, Solanke injury prone, likely not good enough but I think he would actually do well under de zerbi as hes a good presser etc, Richie who is not top quality but works hard and will get you goals but also not great fitness wise.

First 11 attack (in theory)
Solanke
Simons Madison Kudus/kulu is actually strong, under de zerbi would get alot of goals,

Injuries;
Simons (acl) out until at least Jan/Feb
Odobert (acl) Out until at least Oct/Nov
Kudus (hamstring tear) Out until at August
Kulu (patella) Who knows, if and when but rumours will be at the world cup, but who knows how good hell be after over a year out
Maddison (acl) back now but who knows how hell be.

We only have a game a week, so we cannot carry a huge squad but well need to buy to cover injuries. As it stands for the start of the season well likely have a front 4 of; and subs of Richie, Moore from loan and Kulu.
Solanke
Tel Maddison Kudus

I think well have to sign a LW of top quality, I think we need that regardless, Gallagher I would imagine will be our other 10 and will start big away games id imagine, but if Moore cannot step up well need another forward, who can cover wide and 10 given Maddisons fitness issues. Its a fine balancing act and its all well and good to say oh go buy 3 top forwards but its not as simple as that with the injuries.

Mads, Kulu, Xavi, Kudus + Moore.

Couldn't we just fuck off wingers and play 4321 and plow as much dosh as poss into a new ST?

We need to accept life without Maddison.

He is a luxury player at this point who will need to be heavily rotated in a best case scenario

Been shouting this into the void for years. But it’s some kind of law that we have to have two attackers in our team that offer very few actual assists or goals.

Wingers that perform to a decent level most weeks? Kvara? Semenyo? Do we count the artist formerly known as Salah as a winger? Is Vinny Junior an winger? Other than that, I’m coming up dry.

Of that list probably only Kudus and Maddison will be major contributors next season.

Need to plan accordingly and be ruthless in the market.
