For a start, Thiago had two very bad injuries last season and another serious enough one the year prior. Knowing our history and luck, I'd rather a guy with a clean bill of health. That said, he's obviously recovered very well considering his showings this season.

Solanke had one solid season at Bournemouth, Richy was decent at Everton...but it was obvious they didn't have the goods for the top of the table stuff.
