Brentford are a scam club, I don't know what magic beans they are using over there but it seems like it's working for them.

The squads built around a system that massively benefits the players. Remove them from it and they struggle. There's exceptions to that rule like Raya at the scum. Brighton have mainly been the same with the odd exception.

Unless someone just screams quality I think clubs will want to see them do it for a season or 2 before anyone takes a risk on players from the data clubs so to say

Rip their arm off. It's only downhill for him now anyway... The last couple of seasons needed to be his peak years; following up on his career best final season at Bmuff.

.......Instead injuries struck and he can't stay fit now.
Yep, I called him an elegant carthorse or similar in the summer and got absolutely slated for it. I remember Richard Arlison Richard Arlison hounding me for suggesting he wasn’t a top 10 PL striker.

Even if he stayed fit for the entirety of his spurs career he’s not good enough to be our first choice striker. Think being injured for so long has actually helped his reputation.

Physically he's half the man he was when he arrived.

Last season, if nothing else he ran his bollocks off... Now he's visibly not even capable of that.

I don't hold his lack of goals against him.... We haven't created shit for our strikers for nigh on 3 years now.

Yes it’s a massive issue if he’s lost his biggest attribute. I didn’t rate him when he arrived. I’m tired of football being dominated by work horses (in the main) and technical ability is forced out. Yes every team needs grafters but not the whole eleven. Was it ever revealed the reason why he was out so long with the rumours etc?

We need a new forward line. Not one of our forwards is a threat. None of them scare the opposition and none of them can change a game for us. Yes, they will score the odd goal but we literally have to rebuild the front three next season. RKM obviously won't return. Watching him play is as frustrating as eating soup with chop sticks. Solanke reminds me of one of those players who doesn't really like football. Its a career for him. Richy can not lead the line. He was played through with a head start so many times last night and every time he was caught and muscled off the ball within 5 yards. Tel is simply not good enough. Yes he's young, but I don't think he's going to be a top player. Same for Odobert. Kudus is probably the only one I'd keep.

Don’t worry guys, I’m sure Johan has a plan :langetroll:

"Crashing this club.... with no survivors"

There are so many of this lot i'd like to go. Always find it strange after a decent result we get posts about the majority of them staying despite 2 years or sometimes more worth of evidence.
There aren't many that I'd keep. I'm tired of watching this mediocre bunch bumble around the pitch. They've shown some heart of late which is good to see, but not a single one makes me count the hours till the next chance I get to watch them like Kane/Dele/Son etc once did. Our attackers especially are so painfully average. Move them on ffs.

If we manage to stay up ENIC will have to dig into their pockets and put some money on the table, because replacing the entire forward line won’t be cheap, along with a midfielder who can actually move the ball forward.

I’d be willing to start next season with Kinsky if it means they actually address all those areas.

I think keeper is a position where we can strategically kick the can down the road so we can focus spending in other positions.

Sell Vic for 15m or whatever, make Kinsky our provisional number 1 and bring in a cheap, homegrown, PL proven backup. We've been linked to Karl Darlow from Leeds who is out of contract in the summer and I think he'd be ideal. Still good enough to play PL football (he's been decent for Leeds this year) and cover for Kinsky if need be, while being a solid number 2 in the medium term. At 35 years old we can probably get 3-4 years out of him as a backup.

Then if Kinsky turns out to not be good enough we can always loan or sell him in Jan/next summer and then spend proper money on a new long term number 1.

Spending like 40m on Trafford or someone this summer just feels a bit unnecessary when we might have a 40m keeper at the club already. And the only way to find that out is to give Kinsky an extended run in the team.
