Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Like usual nobody knows and it's speculative but I do not see how Summerville would be less available than Savinho, neither of whom I think are anything to write home about.

Summerville might be available later on in the Summer but we know Savinho wants to come and we've been working on that deal for ages.

Also the LW market is pretty dead anyway, not many standouts in that position unless you happen to play for PSG, Real or Bayern - everyone is a much of a muchness really.

How on earth so you know. There are literally hundreds of wingers running through Europe and a few of them ready to make the next step with us. It is where our scouting needs to kick in and produce a list of targets.

For CM I would take a close look on Johan Manzambi of Freiburg. Still needs to improve his work off the ball, but you can clearly see he has everything to get to the top of the game. We need to find similiar talent for the front three.

Because as I said we've been working on that deal for a year, it's an easy deal to do for us.

Kroupi is the obvious one. If we don’t do it now we will be sitting here in 2 seasons asking how could we have missed out? He’s Tel with an end product, or put another way, Greenwood without the baggage.
He's just come off a great season, it's hardly a case of 'how could we have missed out'.

Put him in our team this season and I bet he doesn't score as many goals. Tel can shoot, he'd get more goals if he played as a second striker for Bournemouth this season.

Real and PSG alone have like 6 of the 10 best left sided attackers in the world. Bit silly, really.

Kroupi is levels above Tel, he's a genuine talent.

I look at what he did at Girona - What he did at Girona he was not allowed to do at City. There was no space behind to operate. Intricate passing football at edge of opponent box isnt for every winger.

If City are the only team in PL to create chances, then Thiago at Brentford wont be scoring 22 goals.

De Zerbi plays the bait football of most of the work is done by defense & midfield and they find the wingers in space and give them opportunities in 1v1. If we can replicate that next season, a player like Savinho will thrive.

I trust RDZ to get the best out of him, players like him & Kudus can excite the fans.
Our creativity will improve vastly, whether we take those chances however, is a different matter.
Either way, we need more goal contributions from our attack. obviously our chances improve if everyone is fit.

I'd rather Summerville, he can actually chip in with goals and has shown his quality this season unlike Savio.

West Ham need money so it would be cheaper and it would probably happen very late in the window.

Why has Summerville scored goals? He plays in his favoured position and gets a lot of space on the counter attack because West Ham sat back a lot and tried to launch quick transitions.

Savinho might look better playing that way than getting the odd start on the right, the odd start on the left, playing Pep’s rigid tippy tappy round the box stuff.

The context is everything. The numbers say that Savinho is one of the best ball carriers under 23 in Europe. I look at the way we’ve been playing under RDZ even in the last five games and how we can move the ball up the pitch, if we had two supreme dribblers like Savinho and Kudus up there we would be very dangerous.

We are going to build a team to compete but we can’t get a player out of Bournemouth…doesn’t compute.

It's what it is, Bournemouth scout well and their players level up - they have sold to City, Real, PSG and Liverpool recently.

Kroupi is the next one up to go to a bigger team and probably Rayan - That funnily enough is part of their appeal on how they sign these talented players in the first place.

Savinho and Robertson would be such bog standard Tottenham transfer window fodder of the last 10 years. Just shuffling things around with no real difference. Senesi is obviously an excellent free transfer. Early days though but we really need some difference makers from somewhere.
If they came in ADDITION to some other players then im all for it. Robertson can still do a job and has the right winners attitude. Savinho would need competition. I agree if its JUST them two then it would be standard Spurs window. But from what RDZ is suggesting, theres going to some serious churn.

The only goal I can find this season where he scored with a lot of space on the counter was against Burnley. For his other goals there wasn't much space and he got himself in a shooting position to score.

The problem is that we need goals in the team. I'm not too sure if Savio's game is about getting in those types of positions and shooting to begin with. Sure it can be added to his game like it has to Doku's but that's a big if.
