All others I agree with.

But why in the world MGW?!
For no 10 we have Madders, Kulu, Xavi (!). Bergvall can play there and pretty sure this will be a best position for Moore in the future.

But in your list there is no ST.
Not a deeper CM player to make our ball progression faster.

I really think it is time to let go "the players we chased but could not close" and actually go by the squad needs.

I am not saying that MGW would not be useful player. But this would be 100% luxury signing when essentials are missing. It is basically putting in a diamond gear shift knob to your car... While your tires are totally slick and one of the wheels has been hit to curb and starts to vibrate over speed of 40 km/h.
 
Gakpo ain’t awful but he is a very average player. He can do brilliant things but he can be so selfish and inconsistent. Overall it’s spending a lot of money on a 5/10 or 6/10 player.

Ansu Fati loan: 23/24

Last 5 league finishes (most recent first): 8/8/11/6/9

With Europe next season; they need to fatten out their squad with quality if they're not gonna suffer the same drop off from as last time when they dropped from 6th to 11th.

It's perfectly plausible that they'd accept a loan of a high quality player for such purposes.

Bergvall aint no 10, Madders, Xavi and Kulu all have had or currently have long term injuries so they're not guaranteed to return the same player as before, that said I don't think MGW would be a priority but if there's a deal to get done by all means, that is how you make a statement.
 
Gakpo is a goal threat from the left. Again he is better than what we currently have

Van de Ven, Van Hecke, Simons, Gakpo.... potentially building a little Dutch colony in N17

Madders only just back from a year out, we need to be extra careful with him early on, as we may not see Xavi til Christmas, and we may not see Kulu ever again!

But I agree Moore could be the longer term future there...
Also, finally getting MGW would REALLY fuck the fat Greek crook off no ebd!
