Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I thought Kane was signing a new contract in Munich. He loves it there. I very much doubt he’s coming back to England except for one last swan song when he’s 35 plus years of age.

He keeps delaying conversations about the new contract and is about to enter the final year of his deal. He is happy there but that means nothing if he thinks he can be happy elsewhere too.

Bayern are seriously risking Kane walking away for free next year

Can’t imagine him coming back to us if we aren’t in the CL. Can see him popping up at one of the Manchester clubs.

Of course, he is exactly what Man U need and now under Carrick he would score 25 plus a season with the attacking football they play

I think he would consider coming back here if it's what the wife and family wants, and if he sees the club being very ambitious. Also Levy no longer being here helps because he never forgave Levy for shutting down negotiations with Man City.

However no CL football is a huge negative

Madders only just back from a year out, we need to be extra careful with him early on, as we may not see Xavi til Christmas, and we may not see Kulu ever again!

But I agree Moore could be the longer term future there...
Also, finally getting MGW would REALLY fuck the fat Greek crook off no ebd!

Aah this again... I feel like I've been over it many times now.

1) yes, true, we have some players currently injured and due to come back. But in the other positions - like starting quality LW and starting quality passing midfielder - we don't have any recently returning and nothing to expect from there. So still those two positions minimally need priority over MGW.
2) sure. Not seeing Kulu again.
Statement based 100% on fear and emotions.
There have been thousands of players in pro football who have had to miss a season and then come back.

MGW is essential for us. Simons won’t be available until the end of next season. We don’t even know if Deki can resume his career. Maddison has always been fragile and just had a year out with an exploded knee. Bergvall will never be a 10, nowhere near good enough on the ball. He’s a scrapper not a silky player.

If there’s one signing we need to make above all others it’s a number 10. We cannot rely on the players we currently have on the books in that position. Not signing a new 10 would be the same kind of negligence as not replacing Son. We cannot repeat that mistake. The bonus with MGW is that he’s versatile and can play as a 10, off the left or as an 8.
How can you claim with straight face that position where we have proven quality (though I agree - above average injury prone) player plus others returning is more important than position where we haven't had and do not have even one player up to the task?

It is absurd claim and no one even half sane would not prioritize position with "some questionable options" to position where we have "no options at all".

Once more - not against MGW per se.
We can go for him once we have starting quality passing-midfielder and starting-quality LW signed up. But literally only then.

Seriously fuck Savinho...Lange is such a prick, ditto Vinai. Just a Brazilian Tel/Odobert/Kudus...man our wingers are so 🤮🤮🤮

50mil for a dude who's only got 1 year left on his contract...another brilliant piece of business from our in-house genies.
Maybe just me, but aren’t the vast majority of wingers just fucking useless? Very low number of goals, assists or chance creation. There are exceptions to be fair, but the majority are just coasting.

Is there some rule I don’t know that means you have to play wingers?

Market for forwards including wide ones is pretty dead. Outside of the top talents that are locked down at big clubs really all you can do is take punts on your young odobert level players and hope you create a star
