Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we want someone that can score goals off the left and play up front as well think Marmoush would be the best bet. Most of the links so far would probably see us out of relegation trouble, especially with a better coach but all feels a bit mid table, hardly setting the pulse racing. Yes they're better than Tel or Richarlison but thats a fairly low bar.

To be fair, that cunt Lange dithered around and lowballed.

Expect failure when dealing at the highest level in football.

How is offering the official release clause for MGW low balling? The response of Maranakis was embarrassing and threatening which meant the transfer could no longer proceed no matter what Spurs offered.

Eze was waiting for Woolwich who obviously told him to sit tight until they were ready to do the deal.

We then went for Simons and concluded that deal very quickly

All 3 quality players, unfortunate we couldn't get our first two choices but managed to get the third on the list.

Tottenham Hotspur will compete with Eintracht Frankfurt for the signature of Saint-Etienne forward Djylian N’Guessan.

The 17-year-old attacker is highly rated across Europe, and multiple clubs are monitoring his progress, according to FussballDaten. He has the quality to develop into a top player, and Tottenham would do well to secure his signature.
We have never had much luck with N’ players.

I actually thought Gakpo wasn't good initially but to be honest he's a very direct and effective player from the left. He will get goals without looking great.

We need a goalscoring threat from one of the wide positions. Kudus inst a goalscorer and neither is Savinho if we sign him. I want Lee Kang-in but again he creates and not a goalscorer.

Tel is a goalscoring threat but lots of links about him leaving.
Ive only reall seen kang-in against us when he made a great impact. The psg fans ive seen are eager to get rid, have you seen much of him

There’s all this talk of signing a progressive passer/deep lying playmaker, but when you look at De Zerbi’s teams, none of them seem to play with a player that’s sole role is that, he seems to prefer a busy, more dynamic runner alongside a holding midfielder. With Palhinha seemingly coming back, I would think he’ll want more of a Baleba or Kone type midfielder with legs to partner Bentancur or Palhinha than a Wharton or Stiller type who are more static.
It looks a tad like the potential new CBs could be the deep lying playmakers/passers.

Alderweireld and Dier were that sort of thing.

I still think we should’ve just pressed ahead with the Gibbs-White deal rather than backing down when that fat cunt threw a wobbler. Regardless of how we found out, the release clause was there, I wish we’d just signed the contract with the player while he was at Hotpsur Way and dealt with the ramifications later. We should’ve just told the FA we’d been informed about it from a third party

Loads of hindsight in this.

How can you get him to sign a contract when they didn't release his paperwork?

I swear we could sign prime pele and maradona and some people on here would find a way to make it sound like a fucking catastrophe
You can't have 2 players with such big egos at the club at the same time. Also they will stand in each others ways on the pitch.
Should have signed a hard working midfielder à la roy keane.
Nah not for me 2 club signings no way rdz wanted them.
Bissouma just left and now we have a coke head hanging around great

ENIC OUT !!!

I’ll believe it when I see it, but let’s just pretend this is true, would probably mean no big ticket striker this summer.
Or is it just a message to pacify the supporters if we don't get a new/upgrade CF this summer?

The other day I was reading a scouse website with Klopp saying things about Iraola, and being impressed how he got the best out of Solanke, with support centrally as well as on the wings. Maybe RDZ should look back at those Bournemouth matches to discover how Solanke scored a relatively high number of goals that season before our club signed him.

I found this with a quick search;

“Part of my success is because the manager loves pressing high,” Solanke told The Times in an interview last month. “I’m high up the pitch, in the centre of the goal much of the time, and not having to drop back too much and am finding myself in good positions, more than last season probably. The manager’s style definitely suits me.”
