Look at Rashfords season on season goal stats.
A few meh, 1 outstanding and the rest are mostly all shit.
Hes had a lot of instability throughout his career and seems the type mentally for that to affect him.

I think someone like de zerbi gets the best out of him, and his best is a top top player, espescially in a front foot attacking side. I understand he would be a big gamble though.

What does everyone think we should do with Vuskovic. A bit of me thinks we should try and start a bidding war and cash in already
Wouldnt surprise me if we did. Really think there will be a surprising sale or two (VDV, Vuskovic, Bergvall, Tel?) amongst others. We're not going to be funding all this from Romero, Dragusin, Richarlison and the kindness of the Lewis's. We have a huge squad with no European football. Think it would be madness myself but very Tottenham to pivot completely from longterm strategy to short term experience out of sheer panic from a relegation scare.

Club need to view this as a golden opportunity. Invest cash and build a team that can not only not get relegated but compete at the top.

1 top manager in De Zerbi
2 No European football
3 hopefully players like Maddison, Kulusevski and Kudus back form injury with Odobert and Simons later in the season
4 lots of players to sell
5 lots of clubs with European football who have small squads and will be tested in a much harder way

Lol what, he hit 17 league goals twice as a wide player and had multiple other double fixtures for goals seasons while managing a handful of assists. That’s very good for a PL wide player.

He then contributed to 8 CL goals last season and scored or assisted 15 league goals as an impact player for them ..

Rashford produces.

Not falling for anything, as explicitly stated in the post you quote

Didn't know his wages were anything like that though, you sure?! I can't imagine anyone in Serie A on that money
After a little research, it appears that Vlahovic wants €10M/year, around £8.6M, which equates to roughly £160k/week.

This is probably about as reliable as the "reports" that he's after £800k/week.

In conclusion: The internet is bollox!

Wages are why Juventus do not want to offer him a new contract - they prefer to let him go and pay big fee to sign another striker on big wages to replace him.

So what does that tell you about his wage demands even without knowing his actual figures (which I've got from some Juventus supporters so cannot guarantee 100% accuracy, but probably in right ball park )

At end of 25/26 we had a squad of 28 players - so we could manage on a few less which might mean for example we lose both Bissouma and Sarr without replacing them.

And it could mean bringing in some of our youth to replace some 'average squad' players

So we end up with a squad of say 22 experienced players with a few youth on top and 2 or 3 injured players (eg Kulusevski) where we are uncertain of return date.

That should be enough for 38 PL matches and domestic cups (likely 45 matches, might be 50 to get to finals) versus the 60 matches we play if we are in europe playing every weekend and midweek so match intensity is far greater and rest between matches hard to come by.

Who do we replace Vicario with?

A suggestion, in the style of Joe Hart and Forster, Jason Steele. 35 years old, knows De Zerbi. God feet. Accepts the role as back up.

Alternatives. Sam Johnstone - Wolves, Butland - Rangers,
