Well, I see Raum has been sin binned again and somehow I think it's you and your pals who are behind it...or not.

I sure didn't see him post anything as bad as say that Think Tank lad, who's just been using foul language for like 100 posts in a row.

You're on opposite sides, we sll bloody know it. Let's Lea it at that. But foul voting a dude because he's Pro/Anti ENIC is pretty shameful tbh

As much as people like to claim conspiracy; it takes a whole load of votes for someone to get binned........

So, if you are binned it means more than a few likely names have reached for the foul button.

This is the problem with managers who are too rigid in their choice of players.

Poch only wanted Frenkie de Jong as a nidfield player and when he ultimately said no, there was no adequate replacement to fall back to buy

He did that with a 2nd player too (I forget who) so instead of 2 top young players coming in we ended up with zero new players in 2018.
Also the problem with owners that won’t adjust the budget to get over the hump when the squad is ready to win.

I read it, but I still don’t care because it’s bollox. I don’t care if we were the only side in the league that made signings so far, we conceded the 5th most goals last season but haven’t strengthened at the back that is the point.

Yes we will likely address this problem this window - I still don’t care, it should have been addressed this week at the latest, the new CB should be on a plane to Australia, bonding with the lads, gelling with the team and being ready for next season. Instead we’re looking at playing a pair of CB’s in Australia that hopefully won’t be a pairing in the league next season - like another poster said, players stealing minutes.

It’s a joke, don’t tell me again that it’s okay because treble winning Man City have only bought one player so far, it’s not okay, it’s a disgrace

Lets start again.

Spurs need to fill a number of positions - yes or no ?

We needed a GK - yes or no

We needed a creative midfielder - Yes or no ?

We also need to fill other positions including 2 CB's - yes or no

Spurs have bought players who for various reasons can be bought quickly - that's the reason they are hear.

We will address the CB purchases shortly. Meanwhile other clubs such as Woolwich and ManU have NOT progressed further than us in buying positions THEY think they need to fill.

So stop hyperventilating over something which is NOT a problem at the moment. The player registration window has been open for 14 days ....... and is open for another month.

Good on you.

I say let's offer double what a prospective selling club might want and insist on whichever players we are after, signing-up pronto.

I'm in that boat of dissatisfied right with you as it tilts towards capsizing into the murky depths.
The only two reasons I can see for a hold up are:

1. Selling club want too much
2. Player is unsure

This is why you have a list of targets and don’t put all your eggs in one basket. If it’s one then like we did with Raya you move on to the next target. If it’s 2 then you give the player a reasonable amount of time to think - a week tops, if he is still unsure then he is clearly not the right sort - might always feel like he is doing you a favour.

My frustration is never about the money spent, we spend loads. My frustration is this basic lack of planning and process that leads us into the same doom loop year after year - zero credibility seems to be given to integrating and gelling a squad early. Obviously Levy has to take some of the blame as he is in charge, but what are the rest of the useless toasters he employs doing all year?

No other club has a history of going an entire season without any transfers.

So we're not likely to sign anyone over the weekend.

Unless something happens Monday, the match thread on Tues at 11am, when Rodon and Tanganga are announced as our starting CBs, should be wild!

Getting burnt.

Maybe the pro levy crew are more likely to cast a sin bin vote.?
It's more likely that he's been pissing people off on this forum over a period of time and they just got fed up so he didn't have to do anything especially bad to get the bin votes.

I don't know what happened but he's become unhinged over several months to a year. I can't bring myself to mock him or call him names, I worry about him.

We're all disappointed we haven't got a centre back by the time we've flown out. It is what it is.

We can just hope we press on over the next few weeks and at least get one in by the time we're back ready to be involved against both Shakhtar and Barcelona.

I think luckily for us, centre back is probably the easiest position for a new player to come in and hit the ground running in this system. As opposed say a full back who needs to adapt to playing different to what they're likely used to.
