Levy, sign some CBs you bald hobbit.
Also, sell some players whilst you are at it.
That's the sign off for the day.

But seriously give up this pricks name and give up your paltry excuses for keeping it
It's the transfer thread, at least it's on topic. I didn't expect anyone to take it seriously, it gave me a chuckle so I thought I'll post it.
If it puts your over-sensitive nose out of joint then it’s not my worry. Admin said it was okay and it’s more relevant than fictional film or TV characters.
There’s an ignore button for the easily offended.

Fair enough.
Poch was attacking and gung-ho in comparison to Conte.
Pep is Gung-Ho is Ange Ball is Gung-Ho...
(Changes to) Usernames have to be approved. It was.
Biesla never wanted control, he wants to attack as quickly as possible, his teams never get a break, hence why in club football they often run out of steam. Was his version of Bielsa ball.
Pressing and winning the ball back.
Attacking FBs, 4-2-3-1
possession football.
the foundations are the same.
Bielsa just did it with much less talent and much less depth in his Leeds squad.
It has to be kept for a minimum of six months. To be fair, I think your point has been made now. Keeping it now could be seen as antagonistic.
The cult of the manager is so fucking weird. In no other walk of life, other than perhaps theoretical academia, are people fawned over for rigidly sticking to ideals and principles in the face inadequate talent/materials to complete the task at hand per those ideals and principles.Bielsa was Gung-Ho compared to any and every other fucker in the league! ....Part of which I'd define as trying to play at a technical level that your squad can't cope with.... At that point the management itself is questionable.
Getting your ass smacked every week cos you're wedded to a philosophy isn't good management nor tactically astute.
Pep's not Gung-Ho cos he has the squad to execute..... Much like Poch did. Neither were as single-minded as Bielsa was at Leeds.
Not sure where Conte has anything to do with it.
to program a squad according to a manager's style requires competence and time. The cult of the manager is so fucking weird. They even get people blaming their bosses for not buying them a nail because they failed trying to hammer in a screw while the screwdriver was sitting there the whole time.
Fuck managers with a "style". Give me a manager smart enough to figure out the best style for the players they have available.

We were also extremely physically dominant.
Walker / Toby / Jan / RoseThat's insanely strong.
Wanyama / Dembele

Yves Bissouma’s form for Brighton & Hove Albion during the 2021/22 season convinced Tottenham Hotspur to reportedly invest £30m to buy him last summer.
He struggled to impress and finished his debut season at Spurs with 28 appearances [10 league starts]. An ankle injury forced him to miss a chunk of the season.
The midfielder could have an option to leave Tottenham in the summer window as Akşam state Fenerbahçe have identified him as a target.
The Turkish club have been active in this window and have already made seven additions to their squad.
They have no intention to stop and the Yellow Canaries have set their sights on the Tottenham player. The report states ‘work has started’ and an ‘offer will be made’ to bring the 26-year-old to Istanbul in this window.
It’s claimed Fenerbahçe are looking to sign the Mali international on a loan deal with an option to buy. The report adds they have already established contact with his agent and ‘talks are ongoing’ for a potential deal this summer.
Akşam don’t mention if Fenerbahçe have initiated talks with Ange Postecoglou’s side over a deal for Bissouma.
Surely we won't send him to fucking Moscow in the middle of a war. He hasn't lived up to our hopes, but that's a bit harsh.![]()

Even though Davinson Sanchez seems to stand close to the exit door at Tottenham Hotspur, the club apparently won’t just let him go anywhere.
A story from Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra today claims that while the defender is currently on pre-season with Spurs’ squad in Australia, he’s sorting his future as well.
And it turns out there have been two bids made to Tottenham to sign the 27-year-old this summer: one from Spartak Moscow and one from Galatasaray.
The Russian club reportedly put €10m on the table, while the Turkish side offered €9m, and none of the bids were enough to convince Spurs of the sale.
Sierra adds that more clubs are interested in Sanchez, but those are still to make their attempts for the signing.
Sanchez is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €15m, and has his contract with Tottenham running until 2024.
That means Spurs risk losing the defender for free next year, and seem to be making a bold statement by not accepting those current offers.
We now shall see if the interested clubs will come forward with higher bids.
It's not true, chill.Who wrote this garbage? If it’s true and he leaves and PEH stays, I’m done
I seem to remember Bentaleb playing CM, and then Mason too, as the injuries piled up.Wanyama was fit for one season - after that crocked and never played as well after, so Dembele played with a different partner most of the time
Even without the war I said already I don't want him going there anyway, as the racism is off the charts.Surely we won't send him to fucking Moscow in the middle of a war. He hasn't lived up to our hopes, but that's a bit harsh.
