That's like saying if we sell Sanchez for only 12 mill it means we can forget about Tapsoba or VdV :ange-hmm:

Oh wait...............:ange-snarl:

I don't think what we sell Hoj for has that much influence on who his replacement will be and how much he costs. The Kane money will be distributed across a number of positions that need strengthening

If we get 25-30m for PEH: Spend it on VDV
If we get 30-35m for PEH: Spend it on Tapsoba
If we get 10m for Sanchez: Spend it on Tosin

.........Give PEHs minutes to one of GLC, Ndombele or Divine.

No cover for Kulu

Tbh that Nuamah kid mentioned earlier could do a job there. He doesn't look like a centre forward, he looks like he could play lwf similar to Saka

The question with Gallagher is why doesn’t Poch rate him? Very high work rate HG player is right up his street.

OK so they need to balance the books but having sold Mount you’d think Gallagher would be well in line for a similar role but seems he’s happy to get rid.
I found the wording of the tweet a bit weird. The Chelsea manager wants to keep him and won’t accept 40m. But seemingly would drive him to PikeyLand himself for 50m.

Doesn’t seem like that 10m would make such a difference. Doubt the Chelsea manager said anything at all.

when will the Fans on this site stop with the good ideas because they should know that levy has no intentions of making any of them happen. For two years we have cried out for strong centre backs and still we have not signed them while we pussy foot about over a second rate Lenglet. This man is incapable of seeing further than his bank balance and is Lewis scapegoat.A really progressive club like Woolwich Chelsea would have bought the players by now.Can you imagine Levy bidding for Rice and offering 20 million. We really are a laughing stock and other clubs are now taking the **** out of levy

Of course it does.

You know what team you support?

However, there are some areas of weakness to his game, it must be noted that he is only young and is still learning and developing so it is likely that these will not be an issue forever. One main concern is his defensive understanding when in isolation during 1 versus 1 situations. As a wingback, scenarios like this occur many times over 90 minutes.

Udogie is sometimes indecisive in what to do, this leads to bigger problems being created as he tends to get caught in two minds. Firstly, if he should engage tightly with his opponent or secondly, delay and wait for support.

Destiny Udogie at Udinese 2022/23 - scout report

In the example shown above, Udogie is not close enough to engage but is also not in the correct position to delay. This causes his opponent to exploit the space that he has almost been gifted due to the wingback’s poor positioning.

To combat this, Udogie needs to have a more conservative approach to his style when defending 1 versus 1. he loves to engage quickly with opponents but, as you can see, sometimes it leads to him being caught out. He should have positioned himself a few yards deeper to ensure he has more control over the situation and his opponent.

In situations in the wide channels, Udogie sometimes relies on his speed to help him recover. On occasion, this works and he can regain possession after chasing down his opponent. However, it is a risky game to play as more often than not, the attacking player can make use of the extra yards and punish Udogie.

Not the way a top club should be operating but I guess it could be an explanation why our transfer dealing have come to a grinding halt.

Some of the members on here must watch football, domestic and foreign for 24 hours a day and spend a fortune on subscriptions to do so. As soon as a player’s name is mentioned , a player who nobody had probably never heard of until 10 minutes ago, they become experts and talk about his lack of heading ability, his lack of goal threat and so on and so on. YouTube experts I imagine, sum a player up by watching a 3 minute clip of his highlights or look at a page of statistics about him .

If we come out the other side with this squad, the club has done what it should.

That’s a squad that can compete this year and build for the future

I’d like to see a front 3 of Son….Richarlison….Muani as well, could cause havoc.
