No idea where to put this, but Ali G’s just spent the first 5 minutes of his latest podcast ranting, because the club are upset that he described them in an article as a ‘soap opera’ 😂

There is something really odd in how the club behave under criticism. Both Darren Ambrose and Jaime O Hara have had the club go after them for their view before. It’s petty and small minded and symptom of a wider arrogance our club seems to have.

it's more an inferiority complex then arrogance tbh. They know most of what's been said is true and don't know how to deal with it.

The people running this club are notoriously fragile and there are regular reports of journalists/ex players getting told off or nudged out of events because they criticised the club.

It’s utterly pathetic.

That will fail at 80m EUR. Reckon it at least has to be around 100m EUR base figure.

Main thing is if it does fail we have to move on quickly, can’t have this dragged on for the last few weeks of the window.

I don't see why not.

Ideally we sell him for €100M now and can reinvest this summer. But if we have to take €100M from Bayern on August 30 and hold on to it next summer, we're still in a better position for 2024/25 and beyond than if we keep Kane, qualify for the CL, and he walks for free to Chelsea/Newcastle/United next summer for free.

I'd rather have €85M today than €100M in a month, though.
