People watching Gift’s video showing 12 goals that probably accounts for 0.001% of the total time he’s spent on the pitch and then coming to a conclusion on exactly the type of player he is.

Probably the same people that look up a players fifa ratings and decide if he’s good or not.
I agree it's absurd to analyse or judge players based on their FIFA ratings when Football Manager is just so much more accurate. :llorishowudoin:

Has Il Duce given his response by midnight as demanded?

Isn’t that entirely the point of any negotiation?

That depends entirely on how you define winning. I don't define it as Levy getting one over on Bayern Munich, I define it as getting the best possible outcome for Spurs. Is that Kane leaving on a free to a rival because he wants to beat them?

Seems like we're skating round that possibility. If, at the end of all this, we end up extracting as much money as possible & we re-invest that, Levy can have a pat on the back.

It's getting accepted, Levy just likes dragging things on for the thrill of it. Particularly once the "deadline" thing got reported, his ego wouldn't let him appear to buckle in any shape or form.

More likely Levy is interested in getting the 'up front' or certain cash as high as possible - which might be in the £90m to £100m bracket, with balance being in add ons

Of course the 'upfront' cash will mainly be spread over the player contract length of say 5 years.

But getting the certain cash as high as possible is important as that's going to be spread amongst the bids for the rest of players we buy this window.

We don’t really have a strong hand. The player obviously wants to go, obviously won’t sign a new deal & has a year left. We’re a self sufficient club so losing our star on a free rather than earning 100m would be a really big blow.

Sounds like that’s about what they’re offering and it’s a fair offer. I’d rather just move on than spend the rest of the window playing chicken with them. I don’t really care if Bayern think they’ve ‘won’ or have bullied us, I care about getting the cash and investing in the team.
Hmmm. You trust the same bloke you don’t trust to spend the money that hasn’t been tabled by a club who is used to rolling over everyone, on players we’ve never heard of?
