Yep.

Used to love getting excited over the likes of Lennon, THudd, Walker, Rose etc and even Dele.

They all have more experience than him but it's where we always done better than most other clubs. Signing potentially great young English (or HG) talent.

We've lost our way a bit over the last few years, missing out on the likes Maddison first time round, Olise, Eze and now seemingly Scott.
There is a bit of me that wonders if we didn't get our heads turned by the success we were having and drifted away from these signings for the bigger, flashier ones. Not saying we cant do that but we still need to keep the good young homegrown talent ticking over.

Where has Scott gone? I've missed this, was about to watch the Bristol game, but see he isn't even in the squad!?

That's different than blaming Levy for selling all of our best players. I don't agree that the club has zero ambition to win things, I think the club hired Mourinho and Conte specifically because they wanted Kane to win things at Tottenham, and unfortunately that didn't work out for a variety of reasons (Mou had a horrible squad, Conte was a little bitch).
I would suggest that Levy hired win now managers to create the illusion of ambition without actually backing those managers to win now. Levy wanted Nuno before his hand was forced to turn to Conte.

Jose and Conte were insincere projects on Levy's part. Hindsight suggests this.

If Levy was going to back a manager it probably should have been Poch.

Levy had tickets to sell.

Ignore mate.

You know it makes sense.

You... Sense?

It get's personal with you every time you get frustrated.

SPG? ....Levy-Police? ....Brainwashed victims?

This is your version of "respect" and non-personal is it?

And here's me with a yellow for an ambiguous comment..... I think.

Probably for spam & BS, if you're honest enough with yourself.

Plenty of people that don't like ENIC don't end up with yellows.

Do you remember John Bostock?

Nah I like to see it as well but this summer we're buying too many players that I haven't heard of let alone seen play, Maddison apart.

The players are gamble, the manager is a gamble, seems like if this 'project' fails than maybe the majority will finally wake up and realise our owners haven't got a fucking clue on how to run our club. We're the ninth richest club in the world, not Crystal bloody Palace.
In a league where 6 of the remaining 8 are also in.

My theory at this point is that the anti levy posters are much less likely to foul vote people unless it gets really nasty.

As I just said to him... Plenty of anti-ENIC people don't end up with cards........ It's all down to the way people conduct themselves that provokes the less politically entrenched posters to start reaching for the foul button. It takes more than a few votes to get a card and ultimately it takes admin to approve any votes given.

He also didn't pick that card up today.

Also: Foul votes last for 30 days; so a yellow can easily be an accumulation over the course of a month.

Conte was backed. We even got him Porro in January when it was clear he had a foot out the door cause the club was desperate to back him. We actually have a nearly perfect squad for his style now, with Udogie and VDV, he just didn't want to stick it out.

Selling Kane or keeping him will be a watershed moment. We’re either willing to lose 20+ goals now or 100m now.

All will be for nothing if another centrehalf doesn’t come in. Sanchez/Dier as 3rd centreback is just grim.

Don’t mind taking punts on young players like Phillips and Veliz. From time to time young players prove to be wise investments.

I yearn for a manager that will blood academy players. Hopefully Ange is willing to trust them.
We won't lose 20+ goals. Ange's system will see to that.

Why do you think he choked?
There were a lot of issues in his personal life, with his friends dying and living away from his family, and also health complications. He also made a lot of bizarre decisions, like playing Son every week when he was clearly a shadow of himself, and playing him away from goal. Benching Kulu for an out of position Richy. Not letting Kane play as much as a playmaker but pushing him into the box to get on the end of crosses.

Shame we couldn't get him over the line just before the match - or even arrange a temporary loan for him.

I'd like to have got him on for last 15 mins of match just so he could play with the other players. But at least he'll be able to see the other players in action and meet up with the players before and/or after the match

"A temporary loan"?

Was this after his contract negotiations broke down?
