Anyone else think we're quite light on quality defensive depth?
Romero to Sanchez is a big downgrade, as is VDV to Davies, and Udogie to Davies.
I feel like Davies makes no sense as a backup for VDV either as his lack of pace would be a BIG problem for us, unless you want to pair him with Sanchez, but who the hell would deliberately bench Romero for Sanchez?

Yeah massively yet the club hasnt done enough up until now. Not long left to do it either. For all the people worried about us not having enough goals in the team, that immediately becomes worse if all of a sudden Sanchez or Dier are playing centre back. We desperately need another in. But it looks like we arent going to do it at the moment.
With no Europe, it's going to be hard to get a major upgrade who wants to come in as a back up.
