After a mystery centre-back apparently. Journalists dont know who its and even the club dont know who it is. 😀
Suddenly my hopes went up we'll get a good one then!

It's funny how ever time we get proved right, these chumps take their anger and frustration out on us.

Like somehow we're the ones to blame as every trophyless season passes by....

Wouldn't it be refreshing if they grew some balls for once and said "hey guys, you were right all along "

After all, the facts don't lie 🤷‍♀️

What's your point, as in what are you seeking to say, and not what is your general point in terms of existing?

Was he home schooled? Did he grow up in an ashram? It seems bizarre to me
So many factors here:

19 years old, 12K km from home where all his friends and family are. Probably doesn't speak English, so he will need help with everything basic in life.

Physically, he will never have dealt with this level of speed, intensity and physicality, let alone the tactical understanding. He will need to spend hours in the gym and many more on the training field. He will have a diet specifically laid out for him that he won't like.

Add that he will be earning a relative fortune with all the spongers and hangers and all that entails.

Hardly a wonder so many talented kids fail to make it.

Didn't they also get a new manager?

Didn't we get a new manager?

Perhaps we will be a better functioning first 11 that scored more goals this season than we did last and finish in a better position without Kane?

Still, I don't know what point you are making.

I would say more often than not, teams lose their best player without having a proven, ready-made replacement lined up.
Maybe. But our fallback options after losing a player we really didn't want to lose were Son who is in massive decline and Richarlison, who is just massively shit.
Every other team and scenario you mentioned had options. We don't. So far, our 6 league goals have come from 2 defenders, 2 midfielders, 1 forward and an own goal.
That can't really be sustained. The front 3 need to contribute the bulk of the goals with help from behind them. At the moment, the players behind are bailing the forwards out. We weren't ready to sell Kane and we haven't acted appropriately since he went.

Fair enough but that doesn’t stop him from playing in the U18s side or whatever to keep sharp, unless I’m mistaken and he is playing somewhere
