Particularly effective as Spacebar+Command is just a whole lot of emptiness.

Sure, but if I have given up my season ticket than I'm entitled to moan on here all I want about our lacklustre ownership.

Your argument seems to be unless your protesting in public, preferably outside the training ground or stadium, then you have no right to complain about Levy and ENIC on an online forum?

All due respect but fuck that!

Does that just relate to football or everything else? Can't complain about the government unless you're camped outside No. 10 or invasion of Ukraine unless you're a permanent fixture at the Russian Embassy in London?

I'm not sure you want to go there.
Are we allowed to criticise the players on here? I rarely do, but many others do and that's there choice and I'm fine with it.

How about the managers. Is criticism of the manager permissible or should that be confined to protests outside the training ground?

Whichever way you look at it, his argument is downright dumb and not even worth debating.

So many factors here:

19 years old, 12K km from home where all his friends and family are. Probably doesn't speak English, so he will need help with everything basic in life.

Physically, he will never have dealt with this level of speed, intensity and physicality, let alone the tactical understanding. He will need to spend hours in the gym and many more on the training field. He will have a diet specifically laid out for him that he won't like.

Add that he will be earning a relative fortune with all the spongers and hangers and all that entails.

Hardly a wonder so many talented kids fail to make it.
In general I agree, but it depends on the person. Sarr, for example, had no issue with adapting, which was one of his strengths and has helped him shine at such a young age. Veliz's family followed him to the UK, so they will provide some semblance of home and hopefully a buffer from outside influences. Hoping he's more of a Sarr.

Accents and Geography kinda give it away, but to your point probably most non Europeans wouldn't know the difference.

Haha, you can't fool me, that's Mexico!

But, for the separatists out there:

It's based in a fictional village in Ireland (which is British by Geography).
It's acted by Irish actors from Republic (British by Geo) and NI (British by Geo and Law)
It's written and directed by NI and English writers (both British by Geo and Law)
It was paid for and commissioned by Hat Trick productions in the 90s (a British company by geography and law). For Channel 4, to which same 'Brit' rules apply.

The only way it is not British is if you REALLY want it to be 'just Irish' and ignore all the facts.

Let me (Wikipedia) draw you a picture:

Green is geo, blue is legal. Both are 'British'.

It's British.

EDIT: It's also not British if you think 'British' means 'English'. It's not English. I'm not saying it's English. It's British.
