There's fraud and fraud. He didn't steal the retirement savings of old ladies. He did some shady deals at Juventus that didn't hurt absolutely anyone, other than Juventus itself when they got found out. It's not black and white, mate.
A 15 point deduction which hurt the fans, he was dishonest, very dishonest, he's serving a ban and should have no place at the club, I don't care how good he is.

exactly. It's a fallacy to think he's answerable to anyone but himself. His long game must be flipping for a huge profit, as long as that's on the cards he won't give a flying f*ck
I keep saying it - all he and ENIC care about is that the club is valued above a determined amount. So they can keep using it as collateral for loans for non football related business. Has absolutely no impact on the football when they do that, it's not taking money out of the club. What it does mean though is that everything is run as lean as possible all the time. Never put too much in unless there is a real danger of the value plummeting.

Taremi to Milan collapsed. Honestly for ~12m it's worth a punt, just to have rotation for Richarlison, and keeping Johnson on the wing to give Kulu competition.

The problem is that he will only end up being more deadwood in a year or two. At this point in the project we do not need stop-gaps. We need young players that will grow into Ange's system. If that means we have to wait an extra window or two to find them, then so be it.

They got a point deduction because their entire board was complicit, it's not like Paratici decided to do it on his own, he was following his chairman's orders.

This is the beauty of #angeball it seems, BUT if you want the highest chance of winning things or at least getting into the top 3, you want a good variety of players in your team knocking in say 3-8 goals IN ADDITION to your strikers knocking in 10-20+
Agree but, if it were to happen that the midfield and defense crack in a shit load of goals with the front three being the suppliers (set pieces etc) then it won't be too much of an issue initially. But this is Spurs and we know that won't happen.
So yes, we do need a goal scorer (don't really care where they sit as long as they are 20+ a season). Which hopefully means that when Angeball finally kicks in completely, we could be hitting nearly 3 figures.

I saw Palmer in 2 full England U21 Euros games and have seen bits and pieces for City. It's enough to form an opinion.

How many games did it take for you to form an opinion of our new players, like Udogie?
Oh wow, an U21 game. FML.
This is the premier league. Most players from the U21 international scene fall off the face of the earth once they're too old for that.

I haven't formed an opinion of Udogie because I've only seen him a few times. He's better than Sessegnon that's about all I can say.

That's no excuse, if they told him to rob a bank, would he do it?

Not betting my life on it

Define “fine”? Fine might not be good enough to achieve our aims this season, that’s the worry.

Our attacking options aren’t great, that would be the objective opinion of all football fans regardless of who they support. Dispersing goals around the team doesn’t negate that fact. It’s a clear area where enhancements are required.

I’m not an unrealistic fan. I’m happy to work within our financial confines and don’t expect squad perfection. But if we enter this season with Sanchez 3rd choice CB and the existing attacking options, I’ll consider it poor risk management and be really disappointed in the club. They could seriously impact the chances of meeting our (realistic) objectives this season.
On the attacking side I think the style we are playing will get us enough goals to win games and overall probably the same or more goals than last season, which was our highest-scoring one in 5 years. If we do not achieve our objectives (and other than Ange getting his philosophy bedded in, I do not know what the other objectives are), it will be because of defensive frailties, so I agree that addressing the CB position is probably of more importance.
