What's Solomon done to get in with those two? Had a couple of bright pre-season friendlies and a meh performance in the league cup?

Not saying he's bad either. But at least the other two have started to prove the 'haters' wrong by actually playing well.

Yeah that’s fair enough.

I do think there’s a player there though. Hope he gets enough chances to show it 😊

So anyone else expecting an afternoon of murmurings about Gallagher, Kelly, perhaps a juicy bit of mystery ITK, or Spurs looking at other potential additions reports in the press, only for BeeJay to be announced as our sole signing 23:59 after some "drama" about us having to rush to conclude the deal before the window SLAMS SHUT...

With all of BeeJay's announcement photos clearly taken in broad daylight and timestamped at 1130...

"Spurs tried but they just ran out of time", gah, if only there were a further 3 months in which we could have sorted this deal out for our priority signing!

Bit harsh considering who he had to play with, he started looking lively after we've brought some better players on the pitch.
It is a bit harsh and he's lively without question, but I just saw a real case of the Lucas Moura's with him, and without quite Moura's pace and athleticism.

A good player, but not one top clubs have been clamoring for, nor one Fulham were all that determined to start.

I mean I'm sure even they're aware of that tbf.

Where we differ is that I'm of the opinion that EVERY player signed (starter or sub) should be able to fit into the system we play and we shouldn't make exceptions. That's why players like Dier are now redundant.

No problem with differences of opinion. This forum would be very dull without them.

That's all it is though. I think all our defenders would benefit from his experience, even if his playing time was minimal, whereas you think it would be pointless signing someone who doesn't fit into the system. Fair enough.
