But but we got our Tottenham back
Agree. The key is to get those those other additions in while the current crop of top talent is still in their prime, not 4 years after they're past their best.
Imagine these are really the new Lloris, Eriksen, Rose etc. but for the next 5 years we're struggling for proper CB depth, a real striker etc. and these lot age out and we have to start all over again. Unfortunately, I think that's the most likely scenario.
Could still sell Harvey White...Is it all but confirmed that there will be no more incomings or outgoings?
Embarrassing. We have the money to buy him. If we like him, buy him.

Bullshit.
Ange maybe wanted to do these 2 deals.
Levy dragged out the Johnson deal knowing full well he had no intent to do anything else.
Letting Hoj, Dier or Sanchez go would have cost him more in the player coming in to replace them.
Another manager left with the same deadwood Sanchez and Dier at CB that killed off the last 3 managers.
can't be a new development. Must have always been known but us and themAccording to Marca, Atleti have come up against their FFP limit so can't sign any midfielder.
Fully Agree!Assuming we’re done, my thoughts on the window:
I said at the beginning of the window that it would be unacceptable to complete the window with a striker who scored 1 EPL goal last season.
Therefore, this has been an unacceptable window.
All the good work done at the beginning has been undone by ownership’s refusal to invest in a striker and a second high-line able center back, despite having the entire summer to do so.
The mismanagement of the squad from 2019 forward and the neglect of our own academy has put us in a position which will only clear itself up by terminating contracts and allowing players to run down their contracts. It will probably take another two or three (good-excellent) windows to put right.
Hopefully, there are two or three home-grown (club-trained) options that will help in the medium(-long term).
With Udogie, Vicario, vdV, Maddison and the emergence of Bissouma and Sarr along with fewer games, I think we’ll be better this year than last if we avoid injuries and get anything out of the forward line.
