I’d be surprised if lloris plays again - think his head has gone - for the game where Kane took greaves scoring record lloris got loudly jeered for some wayward kicks near the end- at full time he was dancing around joining in the Kane celebrations without a care in the world - 2 days later out injured apparently felt something when kicking!! After the first half horror show at Newcastle where a half decent keeper would have saved 3 of the 5 that went in he is subbed at half time and never seen again. He has been told he won’t feature this season but turns down several offers - pay him off now

I still don’t like selling Sanchez at this point.
He’s far from perfect but he plays a key role in the team this year I like to call the “Dier squad shield” role.
If the window was still open and we could bring someone in, sure, but not now.
Yeh Jan time no worries we get rid of Sanchez and get in Kelly and other maybe another cover CB. Right now that would leave two CB’s competent for a high line. Way to risky, just look at United with Maguire and Evans yesterday.

Hopefully they take Ndombele (and his wages) in addition to Sanchez.
Its a calculated risk to sell Sanchez at this point, but a good long term bet - especially if as part of the deal Spurs get Victor Nelsson (Denmark CB) in January ?
They spoke most of the summer about buying him out of his contract so he could have free choice and not just the clubs we had offers from.
If you knew he wasn’t going to be registered, that’s the minimum you offer a club legend imo.

All I can think of is Ange as seen enough in Phillips that he thinks the quality isn't much of a difference.

Phillips and Dorrington you mean. If Ange thinks they're ready to be backups then it's fine, what is football without risk, as VDV said.

Ange must think Phillips can do a job as a backup CB. It's a risk getting rid of Sanchez now, but it may also speed up Phillip's development.
