Cool story bro.

Hate this debate but if we cut the fluff and BS.

Spurs and Woolwich have similar revenue and profit/loss. At least ball park.

They have the balls to chase 100m players from the top shelf. Every time we try for a player on the top shelf, miraculously it doesn't come off.

Nobody, with any level of intellectually honest debate, can argue the position that woolwich aren't showing more ambition than Levy and ENIC.

You can come back with some waffle if you like, I'll ignore it and deep down we will both know why.

Is there any point having this conversation? fuck no because Levy operates the way he does and we may as well enjoy the club for what it is.

Ange ball is going to be more fun than endless fucking debates about ENIC's fake ambition.
I didnt frame this as an ENIC / levy debate. I don’t think it has to be that.

I just don’t think spurs fans should be posting negative things about our club when they’re not true.

I said in the post you quoted that chasing 100m players is not an outcome worth chasing. Who cares? It doesn’t take balls to do that. What’s important is to buy players that fit our system and improve the team.

Woolwich are definitely doing that with Rice. But there’s no trophy for spending 100m and it’s that weird standard that I’m rejecting.

If we're cherry-picking; why not Man City, but without the cheating and petro-murder-cunts? :adegrin2:

The petro murder cunts both YOU and I was willing to win for most of last season :adegrin2:

Tbh, you seemed so enthusiastic I was fully expecting to see something like this as your profile pic

French footy press has PSG signing Ugarte and Kang-in Lee imminently. The former for circa 60 mil, the latter for 20.

They're welcome to Ugarte at that price...crazy money for a 22yo coming from the Portuguese league, where he's not even played 100 games. But that's PSG a la Qatar.

The Korean coulda been an interesting one for us, not sure we ever approached Mallorca or his people, but soon as PSG are in, we're fucked anyway.

If there was a player that had everything our system needed, perfect fit but cost 100m would we go and get them?

That’s the difference.

Why would England international players being in the team make any difference to Kane?
I guess if Kane believes in their quality and has a personal affinity with them, that could help convince him to stay.

Imagine in your workplace, you are doing very well and hate the company politics and are thinking of leaving - if they bring in a couple of people you know can do a good job and like, it may sway you towards staying, no?

Of course, a ‘normal job’ is different but you get my point.

Bleh. Hard worker, kinda technically deficient at lots of things, definitely a good eye for goal, would make a great Everton player, don't think he's a top-club level starter though. (Top club.. you know what I mean..)
