Spurs have long-list of goalkeeper targets

And looking ahead to the summer, journalist Alasdair Gold has shared a number of names which he is aware Spurs have looked at as potential options to succeed Lloris:

(1:01:15) “Some of the names that I know are on their shortlist. So you’ve got the Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili. I remember I mentioned him before not being able to remember his actual name. So Mamardashvili. David Raya at Brentford, very good keeper as well. Robert Sanchez at Brighton as well. I think he and Raya both qualify as homegrown, I think because of when they arrived in England as young goalkeepers.

Mike Maignan, AC Milan, who I think is back now, so he’ll be back for the second leg as well. I know they’ve also looked at some older keepers in recent seasons, Emiliano Martinez, which would be an interesting one, he’s a former Woolwich guy, but obviously will know [Cristian] Romero very well.

Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid as well is another one of the older players. They’ve looked at homegrown options. Dean Henderson definitely I know they’ve looked at. Jordan Pickford was another they’ve looked at. Obviously, he’s now signed a new contract at Everton. Mamardashvili is the one I keep hearing.”

Just thinking if midfielders and have we been linked with nabi Kiera?
I’d be flabbergasted if went for him. All my Liverpool supporting family said take him now sarcastically.
We do t need him anyway we creativity.
However this got me thinking of CMs who would have been easily in our reach , Bruno at toon, Paulinho at fulham and even Philips wouldn’t have broke the bank. He would also had more gane time with us than at city plus HG. No idea why we were t after any of those!

Alex Scott looks a great prospect! Has that ability to drag the ball back and move forward at the same time. Bale use to do that and maradona. Looks to be righted footed so would he play wide left forward / midfield?
I’d sell richo as if all he offers is running around I’d rather watch Scott all day. Get £50M back on richo buy Scott and prbly have some left over to contribute towards CD.
If conte stays would getting Scott cone under the “club purchase” banner. Can’t help but think with a lot of young players we have a more progressive attacking manger would be better suited.
We could play front 3 of Scott , Kane and kulu. If we play back 4 then get Madison in behind. FBs udigiou and royal / porro / spence although unlikely.

Always annoys me when I watch a game for one player and his teammates don’t pass it to him everytime.

Don’t they realize nobody is here to see them do shit crosses or smash it into the 3rd row

Mate we don't want him impressing Fraudiola too much. But he is a must get age profile nationality Spurs fan. With l
Lucas off...makes too much sense....So probably not happening.

There is no 'may need to take a hit on fees'

There is no chance of our recovering the fees particularly for Ndombele, Lo Celso, Reguilon. Question with those 3 is if we recover 50% of the fees we paid, given the wages they are on and failure to live up to expectation.
You have no reason to be concerned Amortisation is our friend. By the time those 3 go, they will be shown as a profit on the books. There is a reason they are loaned rather than sold.

Probably won't. I'd estimate:

Ndombele (given his wages) - £15m (maybe less!)
GLC - £15m
Reg - £10m

..........Maybe add £5m if you can mug off an EPL team for them.
This assumes that the player is okay with the transfer. Most of our players on loan are on higher salaries than their respective peers at the loan clubs. Winks would be the highest (or second highest?) paid player at Sampdoria.

.Any buying club would almost certainly insist on bringing wages down. Why would a player accept a move when he knows he can get a loan move to the same club at current wage? Any transfer is undoubtedly going to include an additional amount to subsidize wages going the other way that will further reduce the fee.
