I wouldn't even be willing for it to happen, but I think when Postecoglou takes a look at the players we have he'll see more in Lo Celso than he'll see in many others. I'd be rid of him because of his physical frailty alone, but if we could count on his fitness I think he'd be a good fit for the style we expect to play

But he can't run. He can't press and coughs up the ball a lot. Playing somewhere in youth football in Italy is not really a basis for assuming he's going to work in a completely different (high energy) tactical approach in the PL.

Everything we've been told suggests Postecoglou doesn't use 10's, and there's no fucking way Kulusevski has the all round game to play as an 8.

You don't pay crazy money like that for a 19yo who's got one solid season in the Champo under his belt. That's how you end up with the new Sessegnon. Come on now.

12 mil up front plus say 3 or 4 in bonuses with a wee percentage on future sale. Send them a couple of our kids on loan too. That's a solid, reasonable deal for a kid who very probably would spend most his first season with us coming off the bench for garbage time.

Don't be surprised if you see players you think have no future improve a lot under Postecoglu. One of the things that impressed me the most about him was his ability to polish turds. He improved every player at Celtic, even players who had been truly awful before he arrived

Yeah but we have a fanbase that can never seem to admit it's wrong half the time and instead will pick the smallest faults out of a players performance, even when playing well.

So not sure it'll matter too much.

In my humble opinion, no way Mads is worth 50 big ones on his own. 50 mil for the pair, when you consider everything thoroughly, is (more than) a fair deal. Fuck all that "contemporary market rates", I don't give a shit that others have transformed the landscape with their crazy overinflated bids for average to good players. Fuck City, Chelsea, PSG & co! You need some clubs that are gonna bring back some sense of reality to the whole thing. So if Leicester aren't happy with 50 for 2, then fuck them, move on...plenty equally good players out there we can get for cheaper. Brighton/Brentford/Dortmund etc can do it, surely we can too.

Kulu was terrific for a few months, but then proper gash for a longer period. Story of his career to date. And he's not a perfect fit for Ange's system, even as an 8/10. So if the Baldy One says to the cheating bastards it's 15mil or nothing, and they tell us to get stuffed, then fuck them. If Deki does then go Newcastle and has a solid season, then so be it. Should only pay top dollar when there's no (obvious) red flags.

I’ve had a long think about it, Postecoglou had Jota that played both wings for Celtic, Sancho gives him that.
No way Sancho would cost more than 40 and he’d probably drop his wages. Could do it loan to buy.
