Frustrated World Cup GIF

I think Maddison would smash it for us. If he comes in this summer under a new manager I'd hazard a guess it will help revitalise the team.

Reality is Bastoni is contracted to Inter until June 2024 and Inter didn't want to sell. So Inter can say no to any bid from anyone - and did.

Sadly no top class CB's moved last summer (despite Spurs being linked with half a dozen), that we wanted (other than Bremer who wanted to stay in Italy - hence no CB's coming in other than Lenglet on a one year 'try before you buy' loan.

I can only assume you didn't follow last summer's transfer window otherwise you would know that.

Tongue in cheek message buddy.

I don't think this is what really happened. I did follow the transfer window, thankyou.

Lets not forget inter would sell if the money is right, as other elite clubs do discover with other elite acquisitions.

We will never sign him as Leicester will get better offers from others that we won't match.
His wages will also put off little Dan.
Levy don't sign peak in demand instant first team upgrade quality .
No chance.

On the other hand
The excitement of playing alongside Hobby ,
Royal , Davis. Dier , clapped out Son etc might tickle his fancy as main man Kane has fucked off ,

What about Poch and the following three - Raya, Bastoni or similar, Alexis Mac Allister - Argie connection and pure number 10.

That back line is completely nonsensical. None of Udogie, Bastoni or Porro are well regarded for their defending.

If we get Bastoni he'll have to play in a 3, similar to Conte's current setup, or we'll have to get an Emerson type at LB with top notch fitness and tackling.

Son is done as high level footballer and Kane is leaving.

Brighton will demand stupid money for McAllister and Bastoni is not leaving Inter and/or Italy unless it's Real Madrid or something.

I would love something like this

Bounou/Lafont
Porro----Romero----Torres----Udogie
Bentancur----Bissouma
Kulusevski----Maddison----Szoboszlai
Richarlison

You seem to be pushing your opinions as facts?

Son - let’s see him under the next manager who actually plays football and then decide

Kane - let’s see what happens but he isn’t guaranteed to leave this summer.

Inter have no money and Bastoni hasn’t signed a new contract.

Yep. If Son was still played on the shoulder rather than being asked to play with his back to goal like he currently is then I think we'd see a return to some form. At the memo net he is being played in literally the worst attacking position he can play in. It doesn't suit his game at all. He has been poor this season but I think there is mitigating circumstances for it.

Maddison will end up at Newcastle.

They’ll make him a marquee signing.
And could anyone blame him too.

If I was weighing up the options I'd be looking at how within one year Newcastle have gone from near relegation candidates to CL spots.

And based on spurs history, I'd see Newcastle as almost guaranteed to produce a trophy in coming seasons whereas for spurs I'd see as almost guaranteed not to

Raya and Maddison would be fantastic buys.

Finally replacing Lloris and eriksen with quality, both homegrown too.

LCB Obv a huge issue. Gvardiol is the one but I don’t think he’d come even if we forked up 80M.

Seems like we don’t have too much interest in Ndicka.. Guehi and silva (Benfica) are right footed. (Not sure this is a huge issue?)

We’ll need a couple of forwards too. Keeping in mind Lucas is going, Danjuma likely won’t be kept and son & Kane, who knows….

Big big summer ahead.

Go and get Maddison for £40m, he has 1 year left on his contract - if ever there was a move that makes more sense this Summer this is it.

Son is neither the most technically gifted nor the most creative. His biggest asset was his athleticism, which is increasingly getting worse as he's getting older. The best time to cash in on him is this summer or we risk giving him away for free like Dele and Lucas.

Kane is gone, he should have left by 2021 if it wasn't for that stupid contract he signed in 2018. Has learned his lesson.

Bastoni loves the club, loves the city and loves the life in his home country. He is not leaving his home country unless he's joining a trophy winning super club like Man City, Bayern or Real Madrid.
