Honestly it’s bizarre, they talk about us being mediocre, they’ve won naff all since 1955 - Swindon, Oxford and Luton have all won trophies more recently.

They’ve made the league cup final twice ever, we’ve been in 6 League cup finals since 99.

I could go on, but you get the idea, they are bizarre fans, they’ve been a nothing club for nearly 70 years bar one title challenge in the 90’s that they bottled far worse than we ever have

Yeah. I don't hate him and wouldn't be upset if he here still here this season, he's got heart and fire which we've proven to be short of recently, but you're right that now is probably the best time to move him on. Otherwise it'll probably become another contract that has to be wound down.

Yes I suspect we'll let an intersted party knock down the price to about £25/30 million.

I have no idea how Transfermarket get their valuations either.

Bollox to history, you are as good as your current team.

Villa had a hot patch, they still need to prove it with this team all over again. With Europe to handle they are as likely to be in a relegation battle like Wham were, as they are in a Top 4 battle.

Newcastle maybe too much depth for relegation scrap but they are far from favs for Top4 just because Saudi…

its more when clubs like them and Villa jump on the lack of trophies with zero sense of irony - 1955, you would have to be about 75 to genuinely remember the last time your club won a trophy if you are a Geordie - mental stuff
