I was really impressed with Ugarte when we played Sporting in the CL.

But yeah, not sure where he fits in unless we move Hojbjerg on in the summer.

Tielemans - to slow
Zaha - maybe
Thuram - Not Sure
Ndicka - Yes
Lemar - no
Kante - no
Kamada - Not Sure
Gundogan - Yes
Rabiot - No
de Vrij - Maybe for CCB role if we can’t get someone younger
Adama Traore - no
When Rabiot is fit and focused, he's excellent in that LCM role. We saw the difference with France when he weren't playing...their left side was definitely more exposed defensively and less creative offensively. He can win the ball back, pass it around, run, score, he's tall and strong...

He'd cost a fortune in wages, but I'd defo have him at Spurs. Guy has talent and he's a winner

Ugarte would be a clear and great upgrade on Hojbjerg. He is a very aggressive ball winner and is good at pretty much everything, including good ball control and carrying it forward. If anyone watched the Lisbon derby the other week, he had Enzo Fernandez in his pocket most of that game. He is one of the most similar players i've seen to Moussa Dembele.

Unfortunately, we have 5 midfielders already, as well as Ndombele Winks and Lo Celso. I doubt we will get him over Newcastle who are also interested.. I would definitely sell Hojbjerg to get Ugarte though, easily

I think we'll spend our summer getting one, maybe two CBs, and a striker if Kane leaves, the rest will be cheap crap.

I agree with you that it's about time for us to move PEH out, but this club doesn't sell shit players who are just good enough to fool the manager/fans. PEH, Dier, Davies, Sanchez, Moura, Sissoko are all good examples.

Having said that, if we get top 4 and Newcastle don't, he's ours to lose (assuming no other offers).

Ugarte is a nice player from what I've seen but don't understand why we'd prioritize him. If we're moving on Biss or Hojbjerg fair enough. Deluxe Skipp, not the midfield type we're short of. We need two CB's and a goalkeeper. And if it's a midfielder we're after, surely it needs to be one with a passing range.

Rabiot, Raya, Thuram, Bastoni and Bremer in the summer.

Ndombele, Winks, lo celso, lenglet, lucas, Emerson out

Raya? Is he that good? Only watched him a few times to be honest but he hasn’t impressed me that much, flaps at crosses a lot and seems a bit erratic to me.
Pickford for me, the guy is a serious keeper and seems to be getting better each year, only a year left on his contract, and would probably want to come

Raya is better than Pickford.

Both would have a year left on their contract. Both homegrown. Raya edges it with the ball at his feet.

Pickford is a shouter and doesn't lose focus.

Has the body of a table tennis player and T-rex arms. Overrated with his feet as well from the times I watched him. Kicks long but not that accurate.

Raya... also not super tall but longer arms and at least looks stronger. Much better feet when Ive watched him.

Just my onions tho.

I like both, I think we are more likely to end up with Pickford though, if United and the Chavs are really after Raya for the first team then we're gonna struggle to get him in. I do like Pickford though, he's very solid for England and I think we'd be more likely to see consistent performances from him in our side than at Everton. The way he organises from the back would be invaluable with our current defence as well, might sort a few of the brainfarts out.

I really don’t see the appeal in Pickford. We have been interested in him for a long time but I would prefer to look elsewhere. More often than not he has played well for England, but he’s such a step down from prime Lloris it’s painful. He’s better than 2023 Lloris but I think we can find better.
