Raya stops more crosses (97th percentile) and a higher % of crosses (86th Percentile) than Pickford, Oblak, Lloris and Ramsdale.
These are the kind of stats I like to hear. I very much like Raya at this point.

Would be nice to get a new keeper in in the summer- would clear the way for Kane to be named Captain, finally, after all these years.

Would be sad if it meant being able to get in less than 2 CBs though. God knows we need at least 2 new ones...

Raya is the no-brainer #1 imo. Ticks pretty much every box, most balanced gk that might be available and hg to cap it off. None of the others mentioned are bad keepers but think Raya is a bit ahead of them all. But could very well be competition for his signature, and I have a feeling Hugo will be our #1 again next season and we'll buy some 22yo from the continent.

Pickford has the kind of energy that gets you kicked out of nightclubs, and his short range kicking isn't great. Henderson is a v good goalkeeper with very bad feet. Don't trust Meslier one bit. Haven't paid huge attention to Oblak to be fair, can't judge.

If Lloris is our number 1 next season we are in big trouble

Oblak probably a few seasons back was the best keeper in the world. His form has dipped last season or so from reports so we would need to see why. If it’s nothing Oblak would be pretty unreal but nothing against Raya either.

Missing on Alex Scott would be worse than missing on Grealish

His name has been around for a good few windows now, find it strange that nobody has pulled the trigger on him yet, seems relatively low risk, a no brainer if you will...

I'd really like to see us take a chance on him, with years of actual first team experience under his belt I think he'd be a much stronger shout to make it into our First Team squad than the talents we hoover up from rival academies.

Then again, the same argument on paper could've been made for Sess...

We were meant to be following him last summer. Would be interesting pick-up as he's young so wouldn't expect to play every week but would be an option for 3 man midfield in certain games or to change games off the bench. Homegrown, cheaper than Maddison and higher ceiling.
Ticks too many boxes tbf, let him go to Palace and then spend the next 4 years pining after him until he has 12 months left on his deal...

Him being a Spurs fan you’d think or hope we are all over it but it might be club vs Conte, a signing good for us long term but not what Conte needs now.

Only club I can think of rotating keepers is chavs.

Not sure it works
Not sure it works????

But it could if you were a tactically astute manager like say.........Antonio "the godfather" Conte?

Hes no fool and knows how to get the best out of all of his players.

Its no bad thing having two great established number 1's come in and compete for the same position when they are both on fire they'll play and when 1 is out of form they'll be a clear starter.

Ugarte would be a clear and great upgrade on Hojbjerg. He is a very aggressive ball winner and is good at pretty much everything, including good ball control and carrying it forward. If anyone watched the Lisbon derby the other week, he had Enzo Fernandez in his pocket most of that game. He is one of the most similar players i've seen to Moussa Dembele.

Unfortunately, we have 5 midfielders already, as well as Ndombele Winks and Lo Celso. I doubt we will get him over Newcastle who are also interested.. I would definitely sell Hojbjerg to get Ugarte though, easily
Not PEH but Bissouma

Listen, if Conte wants to do that then what the fuck do I know?

Has he had a GK rotation before at previous clubs?

Not a fan?

I don't watch Leeds every week but he's made ridiculous saves when I have seen them and he's young and 6'6' with fucking Inspector Gadget arms.

closest thing to Courtiois since Courtios from what I've watched, which isn't loads.

He is basically a clone of Lloris and that isn't a good thing. Seems quite erratic to me.

He's very different physically to Lloris. Also, Lloris is the best Spurs keeper in my lifetime a 22 year old clone would be far from a bad thing.
