Probably not a popular opinion but I think we need to sell Kane to get some money for a rebuild. Son and hojbjerg as well. We’re not going to spend enough this summer to get what we need to actually be in contention (while keeping Kane) for something next year, so should just bite the bullet, hire the right manager and build around all the young players in the team: kulu, skipp, sarr, udogie, Gil, etc. Not going to get anything close to what we paid for rich, so need to let him play as a 9 and see if he can do it.

Not Kane but Son and PEH definitely. If we decide to go with a manager like Enrique, they are automatically out.

I mean even if we raised 100 million for all, we would just throw that money down the drain because it would be spent on players who aren't good enough.
In all fairness, Spurs are not the only club that balked at the asking price of around €10–12 million
Now Kvaradona is worth at least 6-7 times that.But all credit to Napoli for picking up him and Kim for "peanuts".

Good list, certainly the positions we need to improve but i'd swap Ndicka on a free as LCB and that might make it a bit more realistic price wise.

Only exception would be a fast CB so we can play a higher line.
It's actually a coherent strategy (which prioritizes profiling players, instead of managers' profiles), which puts it ahead of anything we've done since early-Pochettino days.
Reminds a bit of Grealish when he's on the ball but isn't (just) looking to draw the foul. He actually rides through some challenges he probably shouldn't, but that may be a Championship referee thing.
There's also something very Frenkie de Jong about him... natural ability/composure. The pass before the assist kinda player.
Plus, if it's true he's a Spurs supporter then you have an extra emotional element that's difficult to quantify.

We signed Gil in summer 2021. Kvaratskhelia moved last summer. And they both play opposite sides (normally, although Kvaratskhelia is quite two footed I think) so why would it have needed to be one or the other?
I think missing out on Kim as well, for 15m or so, when we are desperate for CB's was also piss poor.

All come down to Kane and Son. If Kane won’t sign a new deal then sad to say it’s probably United if they stump up a decent fee like £80m, while Son is pace reliant and now 30 so it might be the last time we can sell.
Club has to be proactive and positive. Use the Kane Son, and whatever little money we get for Ndombele and go straight for kvaratskhelia and Osimhen. We will still need 50-60m on top but that would effectively solve our long term attacking issues.
