Personally I’d make him stay and play the last year of his contract. I think Richarlison was bought to be the number 9 replacement or a player we could sell on quite easily should he flop. If we do that then we only need to buy another couple of attackers and an attacking midfielder.

If he goes then I think we have to do the above but also go all out for Ivan Toney with the money.

Either way the transfer planning has to be spot on and we can’t afford a single mistake. If we fuck it up then we will be out of the European places. It’s a huge decision and that’s why I think they’ll kick the can down the road with Kane until 2024.

Toney makes more sense if Kane DOES stay...... He can ride out his ban, whilst Kane plays his final year. Otherwise we just have Richy at ST for a year.

That said, I think if Kane stays this summer it actually exponentially increases the chance of his staying for life.

Talk that his ban will only be 6 months from April so he’ll be back in October. No way do we sign Toney if Kane and Richy are still both here.

Kane will not be allowed to see out his contract, that's madness. If we lose him we'd desperately need the money to replace him, considering all the other positions we already need to strengthen.

Played yesterday as one of the 2CMs in Bristol City's 4-2-3-1.

He'd also work in a midfield 3, IMO.

He takes some free-kicks and corners, and definitely "pops up in the box".
 
I think we should look to move to 4-3-3 next year, and give both Porro and Udogie chances to start.

They're both WBs by trade, but I'm comfortable with them playing FB which we can compensate for with a slightly more defensive midfield 3.

Midfield can be 3 of Bentancur, Bissouma, Skipp, Sarr, Hojbjerg with the addition of Alex Scott.

This means we can focus our transfer window on replacing our forwards and buying 1 big name CB to partner Romero.
 
We need to sort this CB problem out, especially if we do somehow fluke top 4. Trouble is £250m of players out on loan isn't it? With that nonsense going on Levy has a ready made excuse not to spend very much. Still personally I'd rather see just a couple of really good signings to seal us up at the back rather than a raft of average or budget signing punts. Please no more kids, they have all been a complete waste of time and money for as far back as I can remember. The amount we've spent on them in recent years would have paid for a Bastoni.
 
Going to be an absolute car crash this summer. Potentially new manager, DOF and Kane speculation non stop.

A dozen fucking shit players we can’t sell. A bunch of random players we sign for fuck knows what reason.
