We also have Emerson who can play LB/LWB if we bring Spence back.

Im not saying this is ideal, LWB/LB just isn’t a priority area for a signing.
Meanwhile GK, 2 CBs, creative attacker are obligatory.
We'll agree to disagree, my man 😆

To be honest, I'm just praying we sign players with humongous balls, dudes who give 110% each and every game, who friggin hate losing and won't stand for the shit we've seen way too often this season and the many before that. If they gotta be a bit nasty but not in a cunty a la Romero way, I'm game. I wanna see guys who gonna get in Hugo's faces after a stupid entirely avoidable mistake, who gonna give Dier real shit when he fucking chickens out in front of a shot again, who gonna grab Sonny and make him track back for his life...heck, who gonna dare have a go at the manager when he's friggin stubborn.

You don't build a winning mentality without such players. 90s United needed Keane. The Invincibles needed Vieira. Would City have won as much without Kompany & Fernandinho? Bayern have Muller, Barca got fucking Busquets, Real had Casemiro...

We need players who play with intensity 100%, but we also badly need technicians. This squad is severely deficient in footballers who want the ball at their feet and can operate in tight spaces. Its why a bit of intensity from the opposition kills us, on one hand because we cannot match it, but also because our press resistance sucks, far too many players in this squad can only operate in space.

Bissouma in every week next season, get Bentancur fit & sign a player who loves operating in said tight spaces to complete a midfield 3 .. then go out and sign a wide player in the Mitoma vein who can give opposition fullbacks nightmares and doesn't have a first touch like a trampoline.

Once again, you're bang on, my friend.

Kane, Roddy and Biss are our only technically gifted players. Maybe young Pape and Bryan too, but they both need the experience and more physical tools...they'll get there. Porro, the jury's still out, which is entirely normal seen how he's been at the club for a minute and a half.

As for our own Mitoma, I thought that's why we'd signed Danjuma but the kid's barely kicked a ball. Bet he wishes he'd gone Everton. So if we keep him, give the lad a real go. If not, get someone else in...maybe even x2.

Tell you who I'd sign in a heartbeat despite age, previous history/issues, how much they'd cost in fees and wages etc etc...but man I do love Rabiot and Griezmann.

Slaughtering incoming 😅

We're being linked with lots of good players, I just doubt we'll get them.

We've been linked with Perr Schuurs and Stefan De Vrij. If we could add Edson Alvarez to those two we would have an absolutely rock solid core to build from.

Instead, we'll sign Lenglet and give Dire and Dudberg better contracts.

I like Porro, confident he'll come good. Like with Bissouma I just think this season has been a crap one for any incoming players to settle properly.

I'd take Rabiot for sure.

What about this guy to compete with Kulusevski?

Only seen full games involving him less than a handful of times but hey, he looks like he's actually interested in taking on his man and getting the crowd off their feet now and again, which we severely lack.

Sometimes our games go at a snails pace and we need a shot in the arm, this kind of player provides that.

Decent kid, his end product is getting better. But he still loses possession a fair bit, mostly through overdoing it and running into blind alleys a la Lucas Moura. But he's young, plenty time to learn & improve.

Other thing that worries me is, he's never been a regular starter at Villareal though he's been there ages. And he plays like an hour on average, meaning his stamina ain't great. And that's in La Liga...much less physically demanding than the PL.

Also, don't think our friend Danjuma would tell him great things about Spurs somehow.

Probably out of reach for us now, but that Xavi Simons kid is special. Missed the boat on that one when he left PSG for PSV on a free. Like wit Kolo Muani...

How about we leave Kulusevski at Juve and sign the player we should have done 4 years ago, Hirving Lozano
Hummmm leaving Kulu at Juve? Yeah perhaps. He was great for us for a few months but yeah he may well have shot his shot.

But Hirving Lozano? Like...for real?! This ain't 2017, pal. He's been having injury after injury, and even when fit, he's rarely starting and/or playing full matches. His stats have been pretty average for a while too. So thanks but no thanks. I don't want us to splash min 20-25 mil on a guy who's fast approaching 30, got a bad injury record and who'll also tire himself traveling to & back from Mexico for internationals.

I think our team does work hard but there’s no intensity to it. The formation makes them work hard but they’ve no sharpness once they get in that final third. You watch every other team and they don’t look leggy.
You're nearly as funny (or is that deluded?) as LeParisien LeParisien

Kulusevski went past people everytime he got the ball against Brighton. Just a bit off form with the end product for no reason whatsoever

So spend £40million on a slow plodder because of what he did for 2 months who now spends most of his time on his arse, so much so Dav has to help him up??

In fairness, Napoli have a few quality players up front unlike say Juve or indeed us.
