If Maddison ends up at Newcastle, I wonder if we’d be able to get Gibbs-White for similar money? Been impressed by him recently and think he could do a similar job.

Where’s the money coming from this rebuild? Another injection? Because if we rip up contracts we need to pay them off, and we get no money from the sales.

+ no European football next season so a big hit, + securing Porro & Kulu permanently and maybe Lenglet, and no big assets to sell other than Kane who is down to his last year.

If we want a ‘big rebuild’ then Lewis will have to put his hand in his pocket.

If there’s even a modicum of truth to the “ginormous” clean out I hope the club will moved rapidly with the manager and DOF appointments.
Preseason will be crucial if we’re going to try and imbed a whole bunch of new players.

This lad will be linked with everyone over the Summer.

Can’t really work him out. Goes missing in games but he’s got undeniable talent. Feels like the next move is critical as he might end up going the way of Jovic.

Would be great if he did go to a prem club and Kane signed a deal.

Given their FFP and squad size, even tho chavs are going to make loads of noise about big transfers, could easily see them bringing Lukaku back.

I bet the first 2 things this club will do this summer will be extending Dier’s contract and buying Lenglet.
Resignation issue on its own. If a team finishes 8th or 9th and have let in the most goals in their premier league history, signing up 2 of the culprits is gross negligence. Look at Woolwich with Xhaka, probably had his best season for them but prepared to move him on so they can get Rice or Caciedo. Treading water shouldnt be an option for us. Get them gone.

Exactly. I’m not too optimistic. Buying Lenglet who is slow, weak, can’t turn, and on extremely high wages would be a farce no matter what price, let alone extending Dier who has had his worst season for us

And it took Jovic a loan back to Frankfurt and then a move to Fiorentina this past summer to get his career back somewhat on track. 5 Serie A goals this season and 6 in the Conference League to help Fiorentina reach the final. And 1 cup goal.

There's definitely talent in Vlahovic but perhaps he is a bit like Morata where he cannot handle the pressure of being the main man at a really massive club, but is a capable secondary?

How about going in fir Philips even on loan? Certainly better than PEH and skipp. In a 3 with bent abd Biss would be pretty storing. Go for Laporte as well.
