And it took Jovic a loan back to Frankfurt and then a move to Fiorentina this past summer to get his career back somewhat on track. 5 Serie A goals this season and 6 in the Conference League to help Fiorentina reach the final. And 1 cup goal.

There's definitely talent in Vlahovic but perhaps he is a bit like Morata where he cannot handle the pressure of being the main man at a really massive club, but is a capable secondary?
Think he’s just not that good.

Anymore word on our rumoured transfer budget? I only keep asking because multiple fairly reliable journos have put out what both Man Utd and Woolwich have to spend this summer (as a base line without the added money from sales) and I really fear our budget could be real peanuts given the situation we're in.

Looks like we're going to be £85million down before we start because we're going to sign players who have failed this season.

Thank you Paracunti

Forget about it..... You're allowing yourself to be blagged..... Man U don't even know who's gonna own them; let alone how much money they have to spend.

No club worth it's salt announces it's trf budget. It would be counter productive.

Ornstein said yesteday that United are sell to buy unless they get the new owner sorted. Chavs have all kinds of rumours out but need to trim their squad before they buy.

Newcuntle will be the spenders this summer by the looks. Liverpool will go at CMs probably drop 60-80 each on x2.

Probably we spend a similar amount to last summer. Maybe a bit less. Unless Kane goes and then we spend more.

Nope, their budget is pretty much set regardless of who's buying them as they're restricted by FFP and proper reliable journos have said as such irrespective of if it's the Qataris or Ineos who buys them. FYI the figure I've heard for Utd is 100m + anything they can raise via sales, tbh it's not great but they had significant outlay last summer.

Woolwich have 200/250m+ sales as reported by David Ornstein among others, Liverpool have quite a bit of money saved up despite no CL, not sure what Chelsea plan to do (given how much they've already spent) Man City will be able to buy however much they want and Newcastle will probably be really comfortable with what they will be able to spend also.

That brings us back to us who I think will comfortably the least amount of money to spend out of all the top 8 clubs given how we've got large sums of money we still need to pay out for players.

"proper reliable journos"

The existence of such things is highly debatable.
