Even with Skriniar out injured De Vrij is not a starter at Inter now (and Inter play with 3 CBs). And with Slot preferring 2 CB I can't any reason to sign him.
Schuurs hasn't lived up to the early expectations, so there are (much) better prospects out there hopefully.
Biljow, yes, he could do a job but I rather go for David Gaya (although he'll cost more)
De Vrij started 35 marches

Schuurs is wantrf by Liverppool and Newcastle

Bijlow is far, far superior to Raya. Iy'd noy even close

Yet de Vrij is no longer a starter even with Skriniar out (de Vrij did not play in any of the CL semis)
Gaya has done well in EPL while Bijlow is unproven in the EPL, so to say it's not a close race makes no sense. Kepa was excellent in La Liga but not in the EPL. But I would not be against signing Bijlow...
Schuur is a good CB but he wouldn't be top my wish list.

Rather go after the Belgians: Doku, Lavia and Debast please!

Also interesting: Onana, Theate, Openda and Vermeeren.

Great generation coming up again.
I have hardly seen Anderletch, so how's Debast done this season in Anderlecht?
Theate, I understand, has been a bit up and down but seems to have played more solid recently, or not?
Do you think Arthur Vermeeren is ready for the EPL now?

It's interesting looking at our run of the results, that the entire collapse of our defence happened when we introduced Porro.

Royal was in a good run of form; and then for some reason Porro got the start at Leicester. He was at fault for 2 goals and we went on the lose by 4.

Royal comes back in, and we keep clean sheets against West Ham and Chelsea.

Porro back in, and we lose to Sheffield, Wolves.

Royal gets injured and we are stuck with a struggling Porro, who is easily exploited. Mason tried shifting the liability into midfield once Royal was fit.

I wonder if there is any way we can wriggle out of buying this useless feck?

This is dumb. We were shit defensively before porro was even here.
