Amazing to see stories of Sancho gathering pace.

Not because I want him. I thought he was overrated before United signed him.
Because if we really don't want to sell Kane to United for any price, we absolutely won't be sniffing around any of their players.

So either it's absolute BS (likely) or we're considering a player + cash deal with Kane going there.

No, that's why I asked you.

I watch Prem and Serie A.

I like Tomori but had a rough season. Thiaw I only really saw in the CL and he looked a serious talent.
Wasn't a dig, mate 😄 Just keen to get your thoughts on him (and other Bundesliga CB) if you watched that league regularly.

AC Milan had a rough season, too much happening in the background (giving legendary Paolo the boot), too many transfers that didn’t work out. Thiaw is still very, very raw...I think we'd be making the same mistake PSG did when they signed Kehrer (now at West Ham) for like 40mil after he had a good season at Schalke.

We need a beast at CB, a dude who's gonna become the jeffe on & off the pitch (fuck Romero). Thiaw and other young uns don't have the minerals yet.

The real potential upside to all this is that Madrid will spunk their euros on Kyzza and won't have any left for Harry.

Yeah but then PSG will have 150-200 mil to splash on Harry...knowing that getting rid of Bapp, Messi and soon Neymar will proper help them as far as FFP is concerned. Meaning they'd get loads of talent to surround our legend. More attractive proposal than playing for top 8 at Spurs

Fully agreed we need a beast and a Jefe. Don’t agree fuck Romero though. He’d be an incredible combo with a CB like that. Especially in Ange’s high line.
If you really watch Romero on the ball, you can’t give up on a CB talent like that.

But finding that dominant leader, with a left foot? They need to scout their bollox off and then pay what it takes if they are sure. Not move on to the 2nd or 3rd option.

More than happy with 20m on Hatate for the 8, if it means they get the top target CB at whatever it takes to get them

Just gonna say this. I quite like Sancho. Not a popular opinion right now I guess. I certainly did at Dortmund. I know he's got some flaws, and he may or may not be right for Postecoglou. But I think he's got some talent and could do well in the right circumstances. Whether that's us, who fucking knows.

Fuck popular opinions.

Loan deal with option at 40m, don't pay all his salary, agree with him that he'd get less than half if it came off but that's still more than he'd get anywhere else...

Technically brilliant, uses both feet well, balance, scoring instincts. Pressure would be off a bit.

Could Ange use him in the advanced 8/10 role or is he pure winger? He could play either wing imo

Opportunistic buy on another player with contract expiring.

A good keeper but not got the height to dominate and impose in the box like an Alisson, Emerson, Maignan.

He's also prone to deflecting shots into dangerous areas in the box.
I actually think he he's very commanding considering his size I think it's one of his best attributes, dealing with high balls in the box.

I agree with the deflecting of shots though. I also think he might be a bit overated with his build up and short passing game.

But his all-round game is generally good and HG too also at a good age and premier league experienced.

I’d only want him on loan with an option to buy. I reckon he’ll go the way of Dele personally, but you never know and I wouldn’t want us to take the chance

50 million for someone to sit on the bench waiting for Son to get injured. Hard pass.
