Tosin has good raw attributes from what I've seen. He is quite pacey and can pick a pass. Technically good and good in the air as well BUT he does make mistakes.

I've been saying we need to get rid of these mistake riddled players and his main weakness is lapses of concentration.

Saying all that, as I said previously he's a decent player that can potentially become very good. I'd take him IF we were also bringing in another more proven CB.

Good thread.

Not sure if he does join, he'd be here to be a starter. Good HG depth for Romero that can step in and do a solid job.

LCB a priority.

On transfermarkt it says he’s played both CBs even if right footed.

Maybe the club/fans also want a big splash LCB but in terms of style this guy is the PERFECT partner for Romero.

Either way with Romero’s style you will always get a run of games at some point when he’s picked up a knock, with Argentina, or suspended… if he can also play with him, he won’t struggle for minutes

Tosin is 25, coming into his peak years. Why does he want to come in and be a squad player? I'd be surprised he would move anywhere without the guarantee of being the main man. Can he play the LCB role?

Do top 6 clubs offer anyone guaranteed starting roles?

Unless you are Kane or Son, you have only your own hard work and performances to lean on at Spurs. As it should be.

Any player like Tosin needs to be backing himself to be the man at Spurs.

Defensively I'd say yes. Not just top 6 but most teams like to play settled defences and it makes sense because the defence has to work as a unit and it takes time to create that understanding.

So according to all the talk in the media our centre backs next season could be Romero, Maguire, Tosin and Lenglet

Lots are saying we have renegotiated the Kulu price. When we signed him we paid a substantial loan fee.
My understanding is 10m E and agreed a further 25m E for a sale.
About £8m and £22m making a total of £30m.
