You’d need someone elite to replace if we are going down that option. He is over 30 and pace reliant so it maybe the last time to cash in but it’s risky if alternatives aren’t available
I understand where you're coming from Tomo, but I'd have to disagree somewhat, in that I don't necessarily agree that it would have to be someone elite.

Maybe this is why we're reported to have interest in Barnes. He's not elite, but he's proven. Mostly I think it'll be down to the way we play under Ange. His team's are renowned for goals from all over the pitch so, whilst we likely won't get a replacement as good as Son, if we play the right way then his goals won't necessarily be missed.

As you rightly say, he's pace reliant, and we've seen just how quickly the form of that type of player can drop off, as soon as the legs go.

IF the reports are true, I certainly wouldn't be against him going, as I think it would be peak money and, this is just personal opinion, I think he's got another season in his legs, but no more.

As much as I love the guy, now is the time to sell IMO.

Would change the window big time

Now is the time to sell Sonny. He's not going to get better, just start declining.
