It’s also due to Base’s involvement and our relationship with them, which certainly stretches to Levy….This (if nothing else) is evidence that Levy isn't handling negotiations anymore. So who is it, Munn?
I was one of them . I'm surprised and very pleased we have signed him. I think if other big clubs were in for him we wouldn't have stood much chance .There were lots of spurs “fans” queuing up last week to tell us how much more of a bigger draw Newcastle were than us. So it doesn’t surprise me. We always seem to have a group of “fans” who want to belittle us at any chance. We all know who they are. He was never going to that north east backwater over us and London.
Levy usually drags these things on the whole summerWhy would you say that? People were moaning saying the £40 million bid was just Levy being Levy and Lowballing Leicester, now we get him for a good fee and it cant be Levy?
Dont get me wrong im not his biggest fan but give him credit where its due with this one surely
Meanwhile when the Porro deal was on the verge of collapse, it was Levy who got involved, sorted it out and got it done…
did she say yes?A friend of mine was due to propose to his then girlfriend (happily, now wife) on a rooftop bar in London a few years ago.
After many sitcom worthy interruptions, he was just about to do the traditional down on one knee...when guess who turns up with a gang of Instagram models, 3 lads with the same haircut and awful dress sense and Drake blaring from his phone...
James Maddison.
Since then he's hated him. But never mind, my friend is a Spammer.
Homegrown players always seem to cost more than those from abroad, who in some cases can still do the job.Could have invested in a better CB than Lenglent by using the Kulusevski money if we were going to get Maddison anyway. At least we improve 2 positions with Vicario and Maddison, so that is great news.
Don't say stuff like that, remember he is only interested in go karts and Beyonce!Meanwhile when the Porro deal was on the verge of collapse, it was Levy who got involved, sorted it out and got it done…
Weird thing to say when POK has literally said talks are ongoing.
Might not happen, but clearly discussions are being had...
Bang on, that's exactly how they do it. And it gets old rather fast if I'm honest.I agree.
I did listen to it for a while but was way too reactionary and it became very predictable.
Win a match = all the players are great, will we turn it around etc
Lose a match = sell the players, the manager is crap, Levy out.
Gotta admit I've never listened to TFC poddy but I'm gonna give it a go. Thanks pal!Gonna be a loyalist and say the Fighting Cock Podcast with Flav is much better! I like the fact the podcast isn't straight after the game, they actually give themselves a chance to analyse and think about stuff rather than reactionary crap.
I agree that the club definitely did the right thing getting Vicario and Maddison. Dont agree with the Lenglet(if made permanent) and the Kulusevski signings. So its half good half bad . But we had lenglet/kulu before , so adding Vic/Maddision makes us better overall. So great news. Hopefully we do buy a proper CB as well (and get rid of some of the very very bad ones we've collected over the years).Homegrown players always seem to cost more than those from abroad, who in some cases can still do the job.
You have to trust the club, and hope that finally they are getting decisions correct.
We batter the club when things are wrong, we need to praise when, they look to be doing the right thing.
The reason why he got exposed towards the end of his time at Barça was because they played in a high line.I’m not a fan of Lenglet from what we have seen so far by any means, however I do think he will be better in a high line.
