Galatasaray reach an agreement with Tottenham to sign Tanguy Ndombele on loan
Turkish giants Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to secure the services of Tanguy Ndombele on a season-long loan.

According to the reputable Turkish outlet Fanatik, the negotiations between the two clubs have been smooth sailing. Ethem Sunduk, a respected writer for Fanatik, took to Twitter to share the latest update on this intriguing transfer.

However, the successful completion of this agreement is contingent upon the future of Lucas Torreira and Leandro Paredes. Galatasaray is looking to part ways with Torreira, and it is believed that Lazio and Newcastle United have shown interest in the talented midfielder.

Meanwhile, PSG’s Paredes remains the top target for the Turkish club. Should the pursuit of Paredes fall through, Ndombele will undoubtedly be the alternative option. It looks like the Frenchman might not be at the N17 for too long.

Contrary to recent reports from L’Equipe, which suggested that the Frenchman would be given an opportunity to impress the new manager during pre-season, it appears that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is ready to cut ties with the midfielder.

Ndombele arrived at the club in 2019 with high expectations, following a club-record transfer fee of £63m from Lyon. Regrettably, the talented midfielder has struggled to live up to these lofty expectations, failing to make a lasting impression under successive Spurs managers.

With Ndombele’s performances not meeting the desired standards, it is hardly surprising that Chairman Levy has made the decision to offload the player’s wages for the upcoming season instead of giving him another chance.

Apparently, even the option of terminating Ndombele’s contract has been considered if a suitable offer fails to materialise. While this outcome would be disappointing for the player, it would allow Tottenham to free up resources and pursue alternative options.

This unexpected loan deal with Galatasaray represents an opportunity for Ndombele to reignite his career. A change of scenery and a chance to play regular football could be exactly what he needs to rediscover his best form. Let’s see how this one goes.

If you think he doesnt deserve credit for taking a midtable to the CL then he shouldn't get blame either.
He got a new manager bounce with two of the best Forwards in the world. We were still playing turgid shit in this period hidden by thrashing Newcastle, Leeds, Villa and Everton. The fact is the football was worse than under Jose but he got more reinforcements that made a difference.

Turkish rumours have like a completely separate ecology, they're talking about us triggering release clauses for defenders, loaning out players, and none of that stuff will even be mentioned by Fabrizio / Alasdair / Moretto / etc.

So whose fault is that? Conte demanded Bastoni and other players but didn't get them. He's in the last year of his contract, he didn't sign an extension and all of sudden the board decide to fulfil his demand, why?

And where did Bastoni move to - even though he's on record as saying Conte is responsible for him being player he is today. That's right he didn't move.

Likewise Skriniar didn't move, ran down his contract and signed in January for PSG.

Bremer, much linked with Spurs ...... decided he didn't want to move from from Italy for family/visa reasons

A novel idea but until you understand there are at least 4 parties who need to agree to a transfer (2 clubs, player, players agent ..... and that's not including player wife,.... then no surprise your posts are at best childish and a waste of time to read.

If you ask the majority of our managers since Enic have been here what they think of our scouting, negotiating and recruiting of players I think there will be a common consensus of not good enough and that they didn't get the key players they wanted

But you still read them anyway. 🤷‍♂️
If you waste any more of your time reading this, can you tell me if we put in a bid for any of these players?
