Harry Kane is Spurs best ever player
He isn’t.
you want to sell him?
No one wants to sell him. Given the alternative is that he lines up for one of our main rivals and we get nothing for him then selling is a less worse option. In hindsight, how many Spurs fans would have been happy to let Judas go to Italy for close to 20m before his free agency? We have an entire season’s warning in Harry’s case and a lesson in history to look back upon.

The length of his contract and Bayern being prepared to sell him.

If Chelsea offered Bayern Munich a lot of money to sign a 31 year old Harry Kane, what do you think is stopping them from accepting it?

If theres some weird fantasy of Kane wanting to reunite with Pochettino at some point, then it'll happen regardless of whether he goes to Bayern or not.

I reckon there isn't one and Kane won't be joining Chelsea on a free at the end of next season if he is to stay here this.

I think with Tuchel's Chelsea connections there may be something to your analogy.

If Kane wants to play for Poch he will when his Spurs deal expires.

I worry about Spurs supporters who want to sell Kane and post these thoughts on forums.

I'm sure Levy would be pleased to get any fee for Kane if he could get away with it.

As Spurs supporters we mustn't let the cunt take a penny for Kane.

If Kane has to leave Spurs to join a proper football club we should be demanding that the cunt who has caused this to happen fucks off too; not help him to get remunerated.

I'd rather Harry Kane got all the money from his transfer if the choice is that Levy saves a few bob.

Fuck Levy and ENIC.

They can pay for their own mistakes.

If you mean Vdv and Tapsoba, then that comment is just too naive.

Of course all players should fight for their places, but no player at that sort of level is going to leave his current club to join us* if he won't at least start off as first choice, i.e. "it's yours to lose". (And let's not get into this nonsense of 'there is no first choice', of course there is, especially in defence where you don't want to change it every game). Of course there will be injuries, suspensions etc, but I can't see Tapsoba signing unless he believes he is going to be starting, and the same may or may not be true of VdV. If VdV understands he will not start above Tapsoba or Romero until they somehow 'let him in' (poor performance, injury, suspension etc) and is happy with that then great, but if that's not the case then I can't see us signing both, and the attitude of 'they need to win their place' is just too naive - that only works if they are already here.

Of course the ideal scenario is that VdV is happy to be 'behind' Tapsoba and Romero and wants to prove he's actually better than them, so let's hope that's the case, but it would be naive of us to assume that it definitely is the case, and if it isn't then I don't see us signing both.

* I accept they might leave their current club to join someone like City or RM to begin as non-first-choice, but joining us to do that seems much less likely. I do hope that I'm wrong.
It shouldn’t be about who is behind who. What are the goons doing? They are bringing in players to be rivals to existing players. If both these two CBs are good we should get both. No gaurantees on starting they have to earn it. Anyway it could be Romero is on the bench. He’ll be out “injured” or suspended anyway.

Moronic......... In the next breath you'll be spewing that the fans fund everything anyway.

This also trades off of the BS notion that we don't spend the big trf fees we generate.... Total fallacy.

He plays rb? They play white there so looks to be a quality alternative unlike what we go for like lengket. He may or may not be good but at least the current rb knows there is a £40M player who could step in so would have improve his own performances. Just the sort of competition you need.
They mean business, not looking around cheap options to fill the squad out.
To think that we finished above them the season before, yet look at the difference now between the clubs.

I'm pointing out that Harry Kane has brought joy to all Spurs supporters and has probably created a few million young Spurs supporters through his record breaking contributions to THFC's history.

Daniel Levy and ENIC have only taken from Spurs and their loyal supporters for 22 years. The only thing they have broken is our hearts.

I wish Kane well whatever he decides to do.

I wish ENIC and Levy gone from THFC.

No you weren't; that's utter revisionism.... You were just spouting ill-conceived tripe in the spirit of sticking it to the bad bald man.

Harry Kane has only made a positive contribution to THFC.

I can't blame him for wanting to be free from warden Levy.

I sincerely hope that Harry takes the greedy twat to the cleaners regarding his final year.

I'd forgive Kane for running his contract down and pretending to be injured before leaving for free.

If it was to Chelsea; Levy's job as Spurs chairman would become untenable.

That would do for me.

You hate the board more than you support the club, you are genuinely beyond help.
