Skipp has been playing in u21 euros - final just a few days ago and he's due 3 weeks hols after an international tournament.

So nothing to do with how he is regarded.

I imagine he might take a week off and fly out with the rest of the squad - but will be his choice as club are mandated to give him the 3 week break.

This kid Elte Wahi (Montpellier) would be the younger/cheaper option, but Chelsea are sniffing around him now. Barcola more of a wide striker would also be worth a look.

Even if we paid the silly money for Osimhen (120m if I recall) I doubt he would come to us.

I like Wahi and Barcola but both are far to raw to be starters for us. I hope Wahi doesn't go to the player graveyard that is Chelsea.

I really like Vlahovic, great finisher with his left foot, ok finisher with his right, great in the air and more mobile than Kane. He has pretty quick feet and good ball control too.

Yeah, he is not even in the same league as Kane at linking play or at passing in general but that's not needed in Postecoglou's system.

If the club doesn't do everything it can to turn Skipp into a starting CDM/CM for us when we are so direly in need of club trained, homegrown players, it just proves we're an absolute farce.

He should really just start every game for us when healthy from now on so we guarantee he gets the minutes needed to come into his own as a top prem CM. We're in rebuilding mode anyways, so why not?

Send Hojbjerg packing and let Skipp Bentancur and Bissouma get the lions share of the minutes. Sarr is great also- not sure a loan wouldn't be better than him getting 4th choice minutes at the 2 CM spots we're likely to have.

Not developing Skipp to the fullest possible extent though would be absolutely stupid by us.

No striker other than Kane can do what Kane does with passing and distribution. He's truly one of a kind.

When the time comes we needn't bother trying to replace those attributes- it'd be impossible.
