The vast majority of genuine Spurs supporters, (rather than ENIC F.C. supporters), would prefer Kane to stay for the rest of his career and for ENIC and Levy to spend the rest of their careers sponging off someone else's misery.
He won’t fucking stay. We’ve done brilliantly to hold him for as long as we have.
Why?
Because any footballer worth his salt wants to go as far up the football food-chain as possible.
Think Modric.
Think Bale.
We haven’t been anywhere near the top of the food chain for 40 years and arguably longer. In an international market, we’re further down — basically, at a Dortmund level in a more competitive league.
It’s got nothing to do with ENIC. We were lower on the food chain under Sugar and haven’t been anything but a secondary cup team since before you were born.

You want us to lose our best players because you think it reflects poorly on an unpopular owner as if he cares what you think with your ridiculous ‘last chance’ bloviating Grow the fuck up.

How would people feel about Kalvin Phillips if Hojbjerg was sold?
Meh Unimpressed GIF

I also mentioned Modric, Bale and Kyle Walker, who left in 2012, 2013 and 2017.

Since 2017 Levy has also overseen the departures of Dembele, Vertonghen, Eriksen, Alderweireld and Wanyama to balance the books.

There is no nonsense agenda from me. Just the truth. My truth.

Levy has turned a title challenging side, into a bucket of shit, in 5 years.

He's broken up the best side we are likely to see under this shower of pawn brokers and reduced the expectations of the supporters and the overall wage bill.

The only thing he hasn't reduced is the inflated match ticket prices.

Levy is only here for the money.

You are here to defend him.

The majority see that in all the bent posts you and the SPG muster up in an embarrassing attempt to justify the actions of this leech.

How much more obvious can it be?
Yeah I know you mentioned Modric, Bale and Kyle Walker. I was wondering how long it would take to bring up those again and you've done it in your first response.

The reality of it is we haven't sold one of our best players for 6 years since Walker which most likely wasn't even Levy anyway (more Poch). We have managed to keep 2 of our best ever players in Kane and Son for a prolonged amount of time.

I get the board deserve criticism for certain aspects but selling our best players just isn't true anymore with the current state of the club.

Hoddle was also my hero as a kid.

When he left Spurs in 87 I didn't feel the same about it for at least two seasons.

I just feel Harry Kane is so dependable and consistent it is ridiculous to blame him for Spurs failure to win trophies in recent years.

When Spurs challenged for the league title, in 15 / 16 and 16 / 17 Kane's injured ankle, and the lack of cover for Kane during his absence, was the real reason Spurs failed to win.

You can hang your hat on Harry Kane.

He's the best.
I agree with you that you can hang your hat on Harry and I don’t blame him for us not winning anything. I was just saying Hoddle scored in semis and a final.
Hoddle was my god because he played the game the way a midfielder should. Scored incredible goals with either foot, could open a tin of beans with left never mind a defence. His goal against Oxford in his last game was just funnily brilliant.

Harry is still in my top 5 of all time though.
Where in that 5 I don’t know. Hoddle,Gazza,Modric,Kane and Bale. Now there’s a front 5 🤣🤣🤣🤣

For those interested :

Note it also includes the need to offload some outgoings to :
1 Create squad places - currently we have just over 30 first team players
2 Generate some fees to re-invest in new players - note that means ewe need to sell some players for fees, not just loans
3 Get some wages off the books.

But with a new GK, AM and winger in so far, still room for 2 CB's and one if not two others.

On course to be a very solid rebuild (with further players required next window(s) to continue the rebuild)

2 CBs, 1 CM, 1 prospect sounds about right.

Contracts are finite and you cannot force a player to renew. The choice is that you cash in on their value as we did with Bale (or Liverpool did with Coutinho) and reinvest — incidentally (and perhaps surprisingly) we were better after Bale left — or let them walk for free.
There’s really no more to it than that.

We’ve held Harry for almost the full length of his contract — against his current will, in fact — in a sport where players are rarely held to their contract if they indicate they want to move on.

We did better the summer before signing no one!

Could argue that it counters very effectively the arguments about us signing no one in 2018 was the reason we didn't push on when the following year we wasted all that money and still were no better off. :ange-facepalm:
No it doesn't. It just compounded the initial error sign no one, sign no one you can use. Its bad to worse as the later had long lasting wage effects. But the idiocy of " This team can not be improved" in hindsight is breath taking.

And replaced them with; N'dombele, Roden, Sanchez, Lo Celso and Sissoko.

Despite this evidence some of your mates want to sanction the sale of Harry Kane to give the berk 'more resources' to waste on similar chaff.
And despite the evidence that our recruiting has significantly improved in the past couple of years, you continue to peddle revisionist history nonsense. Surprised you didn't go back to 2013 or 2009.

And yeah, let's not sell Harry to get some transfer funds ending up with no one instead. Heck, by your logic we shouldn't buy any new player again ever as long as baldy is in charge.

The state of some of our fans and their fixation with Levy...
