True, but we still had a pretty solid defense, at least until last season. But agreed that we should have acted last summer. Before that, it wasn't as urgent.
I don't beleive that in the whole wide world of football Conte only named Lenget as the remaining CB because he couldn't get his 1st choice CB.
A player that his current team can hardly wait to get rid of and are looking to sell for about £4m.
We need to replace Sanchez and Rodon and possibly Tanganga.
I don't agree that we need 3 more CBs.
My guess is we play 2 CBs instead of 3 this season.
Let's assume that we sign VDV and that he is considered 1st choice.

Sure, according to this so called ITK, so van de Ven will be coming over for a medical while Spurs are negotiating with another player, Tapsoba...and may ditch van de Ven ,,,

Royal and Davies would be stand in CBs, Dier hardly makes a tackle he just backs off. I agree with Sanchez, Rodon, and Tanganga, all going, I don't think we should buy Lenglet. We should buy VDV and tapsoba, or Nelsson. Dier won't go away so as far as I'm concerned he can sit it out incase we have lots of injuries.

I think their goal scoring stats and assists will tell you otherwise. I generally agree with you on most things but until Richarlison starts producing on the pitch then you can’t really argue his case. It’s a big season for him but if Kane stays he won’t play much. He’ll be used from the bench a lot.

Well then we've employed a manager in Conte who was only half hearted into the job, took his millions and stormed off saying the owner doesn't win and the players don't play for eachother. Seems that Conte didn't think good defenders wanted to come here.
As far as our defence was concerened I was peeping though my fingers because I had my hands over my face whilst watching, just waiting to see who is going to give away a goal this time.
They are mostly buying off popularity. And targeting different international markets.
Son is the obvious draw and they reportedly went after him but son or spurs shut it down.
I could see Romero as another option that Saudi would like.
