So, this is a decent take but I don’t agree on some.Firmino and Jesus are shit players and Richarlison is great? Yeah, totally balanced analysis.
Firmino in his prime was significantly better than all 3. Jesus & Richy are on a similar level with Richarlison being the better out and out CF due to (generally) better finishing and more physical presence. But Jesus is the much better wide player with a better first touch, superior dribbler, better passer of the ball. He was a regular City player for years as a result of these attributes & is much more able to play across the front 3. They both work hard off the ball.
That's not me overrating over teams/players. This will be the general consensus outside of Spurs or Woolwich as well. They're both decent forwards with gaps in their game. Jesus is technically very sound with great link up, but misses chances for fun. Richarlison is a bit of a dog with some nice physical attributes but his technique is sloppy and inconsistent.
You don't have to agree but what we actually see on the pitch & the numbers behind it will back up everything I'm saying.
